Just checked on Google maps, Inariyama station is right besides a Japanese airforce base. That explains the random military prescence at the end lol
Akira did the classic "I got bitten by a zombie and aint' telling anyone" thing. I hope she will be ok but... I have REALLY BAD feelings about it.
15:52 im always curious why was each station has different shape in the map, my speculation is
-Square = u can make stop and communicate with the residents in the station
-Circle = No stop, no civilization and u cant make any contact with resident/local in the station
-Diamond = dangerous/resident may harm them
So, it's enoki not truffle
My guess was only right about the mushroom growing on her butt.
Another interesting things in this episode are chizuru's dream. Aside from become a jiu jitsu master and become smart, she also said she wants to eat mushroom and find tiny people which she did throughout this journey.
I wonder if all weird things happened in this world was connected to yoka's subconsciousness
An interesting episode for its own right... Akira... hopefully, you'll get healed eventually from your mind damage. And... Shizuru and Reimi... how are you two supposed to get out of that pinch?

Specifically at the very least only the square-marked stops are the ones with the extremely big events happening in them and the rest is either just small weird stuff like that there or perhaps something else too - 'cause it were three different kinds of symbols after all. Though... the small town we are in right now is also a circle like the ones we kinda skipped over.
