Without cheap coal and gas, there will be a major impact on the manufacturing industry as almost no factories can produce steel with renewable energy. I do agree that the german society has shown great resilience in the past and they will probably bounce back, but people are understimating the number of years of slowdown and stagnation that lies ahead.

I am German and can say first of all that you have provided a good analysis. The economic situation is accurate, but the analysis is too superficial when it comes to political tensions, but this aspect is also very difficult to judge from the outside. It is not wrong, however, except for the comparison with the treatment of Jews in the 1930s/1940s and the reference to Asians - the debate is primarily religious and is directed against Islam, or rather its political variant. The crisis in the European Union after 2008 is also essential for this point, and especially the flow of refugees from 2015 onwards, which led to a radicalization of the AfD and society, after several terror attacks like in Magdeburg a few days ago. The pandemic further confirmed this. I would also add that there has been no investment for decades and the infrastructure has extreme deficits. Public transport by rail is now a disaster, the internet in Germany is at the level of a developing country (very dangerous as an industrial nation), roads, bridges, schools and so on. We need a second Marshall Plan here. And yet the people here are better off than the majority of people worldwide and we should remain modest. I also think that Asia's hour has now come, especially India's, and that's a good thing. A direct comparison of the two countries is difficult, but we can learn from each other. The video is a good contribution, thank you for it.
Hello Akash Banerjee.. thanks for highlighting European issues here. I live in England and I'm seriously and really insisting you to kindly present UK's situation also . Regards Brinda Mallik

Wow wonderful video explanation and i am loving it from my heart @The Deshbhakt , but as i am living in Germany from past 6 years, I just wanted to add here that Comparing India’s economy to Germany’s solely based on overall GDP is misleading due to the significant difference in population size. A more accurate metric is per capita income, which reflects the average income of individuals and better captures the standard of living. As of recent data: India’s per capita income is approximately $2,400. Germany’s per capita income stands at around $51,000. This stark contrast highlights the vast gap in individual prosperity. While India is celebrated as the world’s 5th largest economy in terms of overall GDP, this statistic doesn’t translate to higher incomes for its citizens. The focus should be on increasing India’s per capita income to levels comparable to Germany’s, which would signify true economic progress and improved living standards. Without this, the claim of being on par with advanced economies remains superficial.
Your videos are very interesting and informative. This combination is hard to maintain and you constantly balanced it. Thanks for your videos and love from Bangladesh
Your closing lines were interesting! I live in Germany and can attest that the economy is here is not doing good at the moment. However, Germany and Germans have always stood the test of time. You have to live here and understand the very fabric of their culture to know what I’m saying. They don’t fix an already working system, but if things don’t work, they usually pull their socks up. And they do it much better than others. Germany is relatively easy to integrate as compared to Japan for Indians. Long story short, I believe that in a country with strong ethics and rules, a good leader with a great vision is sufficient to come back on track. Our country has many other issues culturally to overcome many other growth metrics other than GDP. Think School has done a good video on this topic as well.
I would have focused on that aspect a little more - if time permitted - I agree with you. China pulled up its socks - i am sure that Germany will too. Question is what will India do even when there is a window of opportunity - grab it or waste it.

India as the 5th largest economy? That’s like dreaming you’re driving a Ferrari, only to wake up still pedaling a bicycle. I’m settled in Germany, where things run so smoothly, it feels like comparing a Formula 1 race to bumper cars. India catching up in the next 50 years?
Unlikely, thanks to the chaotic circus of politics and the crew of unqualified ringmasters running the show.

I decided to leave Germany 3 years ago after the Nordstream 1&2 got bombed/sabotaged. It's not just energy that was dependant on the Nordstream project, but also manufacturing. Without cheap coal and gas, there will be a major impact on the manufacturing industry as almost no factories can produce steel with renewable energy. The diversified economy you talk about is heavily dependant on Germany's ability to process raw materials. I do agree that the german society has shown great resilience in the past and they will probably bounce back, but people are understimating the number of years of slowdown and stagnation that lies ahead.

Absolutely! Profits are possible, especially now, but complex transactions should be handled by experienced market professionals.

Good to see India has maintained its ties with key partners and prioritising its national interest ❤

As of recent data:
India’s per capita income is approximately $2,400.
That has been in discussion since 2008, maybe earlier than this, that VW thought of shutting their plants.

Very nice video 📹
Right 💯❤

Yes he is trying this balancing act so hard. PLI was a failure most of the funds are not yet sanctioned and manufacturing as % of GDP has reduced not even close to 20%. It was around 13% in 2023 according to the World bank compared to around 17% in 2013-14. Only few companies get PLI incentives and most are still doing assembly and importing more parts from China hence India china trade is record high.PLI is a partial failure from all angles . Most companies that invested didn't even do it for PLI because the incentives were so low
Germany is on a similar track taken by the weimar republic
