There’s also the reason why some Archtypes are OCG/TCG only: Storybreaker combos leading to Coordinator headaches (this problem came up in Vrains a lot with fewer ways to screw Soulburner over)
@@kitelanford How's there a problem. In the anime, you can make an archetype both infinitely consistent but also infinitely shit by having the character play a shit version of it. Go, Soulburner, Ghost Girl and Blue Angel all played meta-relevant archetypes, just some of them absolutely shit versions of it and made them still lose to hilariously bad shit.

Rendezvous and Jack in the hand are insane cards to use in this deck (don't really need more than one rendezvous) all rendezvous essentially does is make it so you can protect your barrier statue from being destroyed by battle by sending it to the gy with Kit. Jack-in-the-hand is also an amazing option to add any piece of your combo necessary to your hand, unfortunately, it's apparently not legal to use in remote duels for some stupid reason...
I just realized. Wouldn't the deck get a consistency boost if you played where arf though? It isn't once per turn and most of the monsters in the deck is a level 1, so it makes it so you always get the cards you want.
Well, I was hoping competitive lyrilusc wouldn't just be barrier statue turbo, but this still pleases me. Thank you Mr. Rothschild for showing me the way.
Just saying this but, I doubt it was abc photon, galaxy soldier dumps abc's and makes infinity, and orbital can be gotten with union carrier to get soldier, it's more of just a small package
It will be very interesting to see how this deck evolves post Bearbloom: on one hand, searching revolt is nutty, and the D.D.R. effect can come in handy despite its extreme cost. On the other hand, it completely turns off Simorgh, so no birbs for you if you want to Shuraig your opponent during their turn.
I play a union carrier and a must vally Thunderbird In my build. Makes it slightly less consistent but I've found it worth it for the better end board with potentially infinite negates
I bought all of the tribrigades before they got popular and im so glad that i can make very competitive list now. I added to that list union carrier, ip masq and avramax in extra and m.v. Thunderbird in main deck so i can make infinite omninegate that cant be attacked over or targeted with card effects
I feel the deck is similar to anything that uses lyrusic. If they can stop it they stop it through big rock and other cards that punish multiple special summons/go wide strategies you lose. The archetype however is resilient with multiple plays and tribrigade just add on to the strength making them pack more of a punch.
Can’t wait for the meta to be evolve into “I can summon a monster that outright stops s. summoning from opp and stop them from activating spells and traps.” Negates? I sleep. Barriers? Let’s GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
I was surprised one of the pros for it wasn't the flexibility. This looks like a nightmare to try to target a weak point in its plays because of how easily it could shift to continue in a different way.
Anyone who has thoughts like " cards are bad and I don't ever need to read them" could literally never come up with this strategy and the TCG is absolutely flooded with that kind of attitude.
I haven't played Yugioh in a very long time. This deck feels like MTG's "EGGS" deck, and I honestly want to play it. Looks like the extra deck is expensive, but the main is cheap.

Zues best bird.
Zeus turns himself into a swan in the lore to fuck bitches. It's legal.

OCG and Hypnocorn would feel attacked at this decklist just gonna say. Also play the Tri-brigade spell post blvo :)

BTW congrats for 40k subs
