Breathtaking. I'm a casual gamer, but I think watching competitive gaming is the shit. This is one of the best videos on youtube I've ever seen, and I barely play Street Fighter.
wow. that was really amazing! both health bars really low, dodging, punching, fireballs?! i got all excited because of the people watching!! these guys are really, really good. lot of respect for them.
i think its more ryu got nerfe in AE 2011 so he change to yun then yun got heavily nerfe in AE 2012 so he change back to ryu again and where did you get this capcom issue?
@Saturi Thats not spamming, that zoning. You do realize all characters (even Yun) has moves that go throught fireballs? I think the best way to prove my point, if we had a match in SSF4 AE. But if you can't fight. This match is 5/5 in no ones favor. Lets break down these fighters. Ryu has fireballs, Uppercuts, and high damage combos. Yun has, an Uppercut, target combos, command grab, dive kicks, and high damage output... who is better?
@BoyBangla He thought he got nerfed in AE and he wanted to use the character he was best with. However he is switching to someone new in 2012. It was supposed to be back to Ryu but he said his changes were "meaningless"
Incredible, perfect example of my dream fight! Side note- its kinda sad when daigo has to wear headphones to block out the rudeness of americans at evo.
@machogrubba14 you need to buy super street fighter arcade edition to play with him, you can either download it if you already Have SS4 or buy it in a disc
I think both you guys have a point. He is right on the one hand, Yun/Yang players have to get into the fight and get up close and personal. But on the other hand Ryu is downloaded now, he lost best character status awhile ago. Everyone knows how to deal with Ryu now and he is easily punishable
@TheKah521 He's like the community forums PR from Capcom. His roots in SF tourneys go waaay back also .. maybe as far as valle and daigo in sf II tourneys ..
@jman9001 Comments are supposed to give thoughts and opinions on the video, reviews really. So if you don't want to find out who wins the match just don't read the comments.
@miyodarius Thats a way better response, you should have stated something like that to begin with. spam is repeated use of a move, anything can be spammed. He was trying to get a easy win through the hadokens, but diago didn't let it happen. Yes he was zoning too, but that don't change the fact that he was spamming, I don't know all of yun's move but usually its only ex moves that go through fireballs, I have not even played AE yet. But i played SS4 more than enough to know how the game works.
these two guys are my favorites!^^...and poongko! xP ...and tokido!^^.... and mago...and^^´´´they are all amazing! ^^ justin wong, mike roos wolfkrone.....there ara many realy good fighters!°°````
Yun has to push forward to get anywhere in a match, the key is to beating Yun is to learn how to play with Yun. Learn his strength, speed, combos, then practice with a fighter quick enough to catch up. Think about it, Daigo is great with Yun, but, if he went against a Yun do u think he'd win?
Man, I really wanted to see Justin vs Daigo in Grand Finals. Yang vs Yun....Yeah Alex is a very, very strong player but, Justin needs to run it back with Daigo.
can anyone please explain to me if Yun is a real Street Fighter 4 character? is he an actual playable character? Can you unlock him??? I want to know! Yun is my favorite character in the street fighter 3 series!!!
Yun's Ex fist is a broken frame trap and his recovery is sooo fast. I feel nerf coming. Even playing online the screen pushes you so far back after Yun's Ex fist that u can't see ur character but the Yun player can.
Sick battle till the very end. I still hate it though that anyone fighting a yun has to work so much harder for a win. This shit better change and soon.
@hongeeee not really. poongko even openly admitted that daigo was a better player than he was, lol. he just got carried away in evo and over-reacted after a win against daigo.
when i watched this on the livestream i was litterally shouting out in exitement FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKINNNNNNNNNG HYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
@Chri2king Really? Ryu wasn't that awesome until daigo used him. That's when he got awesome. You don't keep doing amazing at tourneys because of the character, but because of the player
@BoyBangla daigo stoped playing ryu because of as capcom asked him before AE who he probably wants as new characters in AE, daigo said he would like the twins. and as they gave him the twins he said because im a pro player and working for them and they make me these two chars i wanted fight with one of them. but it looks like he will be fighting in the future with akuma!^^ we will see :) ps; sry for my bad english^^´´´´
That was a pretty damn good match, but I gotta point out that Daigo is a helluva lot better than what his showing at this year's Evo shows. In everyone of the matches I've seen him play, he's dropped more than one combo. That's totally not like Daigo.
@supremespork nah, ryu has always been one of street fighters top tier characters. Sure Daigo made him a popular standout amongst tourny players. But you talk as if Daigo is one of the capcom game developers and went and re-modified ryu's game mechanics.
Alex Valle vs Daigo is basically Ken vs Ryu. Friends with a long rivalrly but respect each other to the fullest.
Breathtaking. I'm a casual gamer, but I think watching competitive gaming is the shit. This is one of the best videos on youtube I've ever seen, and I barely play Street Fighter.
wow....the old rivalry in full blown action again.
stunning match
Alex and Daigo are like Ryu and Ken. Old rivals (back during sfa3) but always full of respect for each other. I feel this is the grand finals of evo.
wow. that was really amazing! both health bars really low, dodging, punching, fireballs?! i got all excited because of the people watching!!
these guys are really, really good. lot of respect for them.
I LOVE it when these two play. And seeing as Daigo is considering returning to Ryu, we might even see a Ryu mirrormatch from these two.
Got my tickets to this year's evo damn I hope something epic like this goes down
i was going crazy during that hah
Two legends goin' at it... that's what EVO is all about.
Daigo Friends Ryu
Nothing will beat Daigo(Ryu) - Marn(Dudley) Us Vs. World.. Greatest Championship ive ever seen in my life..
This is the first game I've seen involving Yun that I actually enjoyed watching. True story. Fitting that Valle was involved...
@supremespork What are you talking about, did you even play original sf4? Ryu WAS awesome lol
i think its more ryu got nerfe in AE 2011 so he change to yun then yun got heavily nerfe in AE 2012 so he change back to ryu again and where did you get this capcom issue?
im a noob, which one was Alex irl? long hair or bigger/short hair dude?
That was the best fight of all day. Alex Valle the only one who was able to push Daigo to the limit. The other were destroyed by Umehara.
AMAZING MATCH!!! so much HYPE!! lol. damn alex played great against daigo.
@TheKah521 no. he works for capcom
these are my idols :')
was this his first match or 3rd? o.O
Back luck Alex Valle - woulda been a good comeback from his good old days!
What a game though!
@Saturi Thats not spamming, that zoning. You do realize all characters (even Yun) has moves that go throught fireballs? I think the best way to prove my point, if we had a match in SSF4 AE. Yun has, an Uppercut, target combos, command grab, dive kicks, and high damage output... who is better?
Damn that was an epic match. Daigo stylin on ppl in mvc3 and ssf4ae lol
Great job from Alex Valle (despite the loss); he went against Daigo and stood his ground.
@BoyBangla He thought he got nerfed in AE and he wanted to use the character he was best with. However he is switching to someone new in 2012. It was supposed to be back to Ryu but he said his changes were "meaningless"
What an amazing match, Alex played so well!
Incredible, perfect example of my dream fight!
Side note- its kinda sad when daigo has to wear headphones to block out the rudeness of americans at evo.
Man, that fight was amazing
Excellent match
Alex turned the corner in Game 2 but Daigo made him pay for it.
Awesome
Fuckin hell.. That's one of the best match I've seen in a while.
@RealRussianStandard Good, glad to see another person didn't miss it!
@machogrubba14 you need to buy super street fighter arcade edition to play with him, you can either download it if you already Have SS4 or buy it in a disc

@RealRussianStandard finals are on tonght,ae in about an hour or two,go to ustream
To bad that Daigo lost today..but hes still one of the best ever!! Respect!
@TheKah521 no they were cheering Valle when he wins
Isnt seth killian the maker of street fighter?
@nail1080 who the heck is xcal?
@TheKah521
He's like the community forums PR from Capcom. His roots in SF tourneys go waaay back also .. maybe as far as valle and daigo in sf II tourneys ..
Best match ever!
that was an excellent match.
Holy. That was just outstanding.
Alex, Daigo, I salute you. o\
Match of the tournament so far!!
Just Hype!
@jman9001 Comments are supposed to give thoughts and opinions on the video, reviews really. So if you don't want to find out who wins the match just don't read the comments.
Great match

@jkksung I think its in his contract with Madcatz to make the game exciting so people will watch and buy the endorsements...
it sounds like raidens voice actor when he does the superman attack announcing sagats tiger uppahcut
@Cr1mSiR lol, fair enough. I have a lit of time for Valle, I just like seeing an actual fight be brought to a Yun, let alone THIS Yun.
@poseidon206 No they do not have to. Get use to it.
5:55, he actually could only followup with ex shoulder, he was just building meter cause he couldn't followup and kill valle.
Man, I really wanted to see Justin vs Daigo in Grand Finals. Yang vs Yun....Yeah Alex is a very, very strong player but, Justin needs to run it back with Daigo.
Respect the old schooler !
"dragon punch that's it"
can anyone please explain to me if Yun is a real Street Fighter 4 character? is he an actual playable character? Can you unlock him??? I want to know! Yun is my favorite character in the street fighter 3 series!!!
Yun's Ex fist is a broken frame trap and his recovery is sooo fast. I feel nerf coming. Even playing online the screen pushes you so far back after Yun's Ex fist that u can't see ur character but the Yun player can.
@Ryukensan75 Every live stream is like that. There's no exceptions.
@TheAcad3mic you're right, watching valle lose is extremely entertaining.
One day, there will be a Daigo biopic.
@OpForza at this level of gameplay u dont let anyone take away yours hp couse it can cost u very much
6:09 ohhhhhh!!!! PSYCHIC UPPERCUUUTTTT!!!!!!!!!! lol Seth is the greatest :)
@KellysterOverdrive dont blame capcom, blame daigo.
Seth is such a good commentator..
I'd like to see Diago's Yun against Xian's Yun
Daigo will be back in 2012. After the two losses this year he will train more for next year.
Epic.
@maestromalmsteen I think it's a bit different now. Ahem. Poongko. LOL.
when i watched this on the livestream i was litterally shouting out in exitement
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKINNNNNNNNNG HYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYPPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
@tj203 Yeah, I know he was eliminated. That's MY fantasy bracket. Grand Finals, Justin vs Daigo. Yang vs Yun
@RealRussianStandard its on right now
12k plus views in 2 days. . . Epic
good match
@kistajk sick as hell
The best fight Daigo was the end of 2004 EVO
hats off for alex .
fucken legend .
10/5 .
kinda reminds me of the cool blokes waiting for fish and chips years ago, with better graphics of course lol
Daigo sings: Hello Ryu my old friend...
@itzAcutie imagine the worlds best street fighter player playing the a top tier character that needs to be nerfed down...
4:50 "Dragon punch that bitch!"
Unlucky Alex, he played amazingly well
@Chri2king
Really? Ryu wasn't that awesome until daigo used him. That's when he got awesome. You don't keep doing amazing at tourneys because of the character, but because of the player
@naltschul he's got a lot of cats.
@shooeeeeee thats why i said he was under pressure
@BoyBangla daigo stoped playing ryu because of as capcom asked him before AE who he probably wants as new characters in AE, daigo said he would like the twins. and as they gave him the twins he said because im a pro player and working for them and they make me these two chars i wanted fight with one of them. but it looks like he will be fighting in the future with akuma!^^ we will see :) ps; sry for my bad english^^´´´´
Anyone else think that Daigo let Alex take off some of his health in game 1 round 2 because he knew he'd win anyway?
@Ryukensan75 racism? i watch the stream fullscreen. were the americans bitter against the asian?
That was a pretty damn good match, but I gotta point out that Daigo is a helluva lot better than what his showing at this year's Evo shows. In everyone of the matches I've seen him play, he's dropped more than one combo. That's totally not like Daigo.

@Dmetal23 Either way more views is a good thing.
DIVE KICK + SHOULDER/FOREARM RUSH= WORLD CHAMPION DAIGO!
nice of Daigo to let alex have that match.
CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNNGEEEEE
