I already know most of this stuff sort of inherently but watching you do this and refresh my memory of the proper terms for what you're doing absolutely had boosted my creativity just in the past few days. Your channel is very underappreciated; I will be telling all my friends about it. Keep it up, please. I love this stuff
Very nice. I've never used a half-diminished in a walk-up, so thanks for that! that 7th chord exercise (beginning of the video, major, dominant, minor, minor-flat5 to the next maj7th chord) is be really helpful in learning thosee chords. If you haven't discussed that exercise yet, you should do a short/video on it!
First off I enjoy your content. But I see that you constantly do a fast run after every chord or key change. Is it to hear the sound or to just stay good at it? What is the purpose?
To hear it! It’s really important to not just learn the chord, but also learn the SOUND of the chord. So playing it as an arpeggio helps drive the sound into my “your” brain. 👍🏽
Never scratch your head again 2:09 💀💀
Otherwise really cool vid, good job!!
Hahhaa my bad!! Lol
💀 literally
