@@QuanNguyen-tt6kq Relax. It's a young man who actually went through something, who can describe it with abstracts and metaphors. Nothing to do with "power".
As purposeful, skilful, insightful, meaningful and beautiful as rap/music/art gets. And it still doesn’t even quite make it into my top 10 songs by Kendrick. Easily, the greatest of all time.
The thing is, hes not the MOST technical rapper (there’s others who write more complex punchlines, multisyllabes, wordplay, etc) but his artistry, concepts, execution nd raw lyricisms insane- he’s genuinely the best at putting everything together, his poetic writing on top of his great technical ability- hes the GOAT both from a lyrical nd artistic standpoint.
@@owkrikki totally agree with everything you said. Although I don’t think he’s far off from being the best technical rapper, I think he’s in the argument alongside few others, like MF DOOM and Black Thought. But yeah, I’m terms of the artistry and whole package of all the elements of rap/music, I think he’s far ahead of the next best rapper.
@@AH-bm5xs Nah ion think he’s far off either but theres def ppl who i can think of from the top of my head that are better at purely jus multisyllabic rhyming or punchlines
Yea but still id say around 60% would be intentional rhymes and the others just happened to rhyme. I could be wrong and he might have made more intentional rhymes but thats just my opinion as someone who does write raps
2:05 at the bottom I feel like "place before" rhymes very well with "'84" (eighty four) Edit: I just realized he did the same in 2:14 because "customer" should rhyme with "manager", i think
@@iamsam-cu9rz It might look off but it's kinda the way he says it that it sounds similar. Listen to it again, you can hear his voice raise in the syllables 'cu' and 'ma' and it continues the same way. It also counts that both of them end with the syllable 'er'
Dude i got a cool idea: you could line up all the syllables the rapper would rhyme similarly at the end of the video. Kinda makes it easier to study how the rapper would rhyme what with what.
This is poetry. You can read it without the beat and still feel the depth of it.
That's the power of the greatest MC alive!

100% agree. Makes it into my top 10 of his but ye most of his songs are multi levels above the next best rapper or even any great artist
I think is its best. Storytelling showing off his skills and finishing probably his best album with a boombap lyrical shit

How do you pick what colors? Genuinely I want to understand how to color a rhyme scheme
You pick the colors based on the sounds the words make. You need to remember which colors are for which sounds though it's a pain.
