Yo Preston I’m happy to see this video because it means you survived but just know that underground pipes can be very dangerous because of their lack of clean air. Even though it’s a storm drain and not a sewer as you pointed out, storm systems can still house vapours from literally anything that was once on the road. Think oil from cars, gasoline/diesel, paint fumes etc. and with nowhere to go they can quickly collect in clouds inside of pipes, meaning you’re fine, fine, fine then your lungs are on fire. I want to see you make so many more videos because they’re 10/10 my favourite to watch right now, just don’t die. -civ engineer
Yes, but they are going downhill. Fumes should rise and combusted oxygen should cause more oxygen to be drawn in from the exit. Still not safe, but not as bad
Next time be careful with the oxygen levels when going that deep into tunnels. I do civil construction and work on storm drains. We use oxygen level readers before entering the holes to ensure safety.
Or if the lithium ion batteries got punctured in one of those crashes. I imagine that would consume the oxygen real quick while puffing out toxic fumes
Somehow this seemed even crazier than when I went through that tunnel on inflatables 😂 glad your batteries didn’t explode, and you made it out alive, Preston 🤘🏻

Bro, that looked crazy fun! All you have to do is fix that one pothole, then make the body a little wider so you can extend the wheels somehow to get it off the ground so it doesn't burn out/malfunction because of the water. It started getting scary when you mentioned the warm batteries. Lithium Ion batteries easily catch fire if punctured. If that happened then lack of oxygen or toxic gas could have become a real issue in such an enclosed space.
damn that looks fun but dangerous if i was going to do it id probably use VRLA batteries instead of lithium batteries, because while they are way heavier they are super stable (i.e. you can literally drill holes in them and they will continue to somewhat work, source for this claim is that i tested it and the battery still gave 2/3rds of its rated voltage with a hole in it). id also mount the entire drive system higher up to prevent it from getting flooded, and use a chain to transfer power to the wheels. reading some other comments, id also bring some kind of SCBA, and probably have as much double redundancy as i can fit for critical parts (e.g. spare battery, motor controller, and human interface stuff in a waterproof peli case, second motor and drive chain attached to the other side of the drive axle) of course that all assumes i actually decide to do this dangerous thing and can also find a storm drain that isnt constantly full of sewage (i live in britain, which is well known for virtually routine sewage discharges into rivers and onto beaches)
also lead acid batteries can do 200-300 amps, and youd only realistically need 100 max for this kind of thing, so you wouldnt have to worry about them overheating and potentially exploding (id be more worried about them cooling down too much if i decided to preheat them for maximum capacity, and lead acid batteries dont explode like lithium batteries)

11:55 STILL WATER😱😱
currently at 12:00 and was about to comment the exact same thing
This is one of the most insane things ive ever seen, just look up how many austrlaian kids have died from going into storm drains. Not sure how the weather is in Cali but in Australia flash flooding is a real thing. Crazy that you did this.
14:34 Why is this VIdeo Fake?😢 At this point you can see how light shines from both sides into the tunnel. 😅
That’s a phone you’re seeing
Duh
i just realized why i like your videos so much. They have a very "The Lonely Island" feel to them. Other people may have said this, I do not read their comments I throw them on the ground.

🔥🔥🔥🔥
The music was really good, and this is a underrated youtuber, this youtuber needs more love.
3:34 - this will blow your mind: "Chassis" is pronounced "sha-see" instead of "cha-see" in England and many other parts of the world :)
Yea well England does it wrong
I think it's a french word, so technically we say it the correct way (I.E, the way it was intended), but I gotta admit, if you just look at the word phonetically, the american pronounciation sounds more accurate despite being wrong.
I... was holding my breath the entire time y'all were in that tunnel! Lol Glad y'all made it out safe, very cool vid!!!
I did not know, that some people did not know, chassis was a word. lol
that was a dangerous one but good storytelling make this videos so entertaining well done

That's fake, at 14:28, we see the beginning of the tunnel behind the kart! Go check it if you don't believe me!

Preston another banger love this video man but don't put your self in danger anymore ok
Respect to the guys who walked half a mile underground just for some spraypaint
1:10 pretty random but i see that the bush behind you is unmistakeably a Lilly Pilly. Native to my home country Australia, the reddish-pink berries of the Lilly Pilly are completely edible, just make sure to watch out for the seed on the inside, if you pick them when they are a ripe red, they taste absolutely delicious and can be made into a tasty jam, maybe next time you see one, stop and have a taste!
Dude these videos are so off the wall with the jingles! Absolutely hilarious man!
I just wanted to tell you that I showed your Alaska car video to so many people because the music transition about the stolen car made me and all my friends laugh out loud. I returned to it and saw it was edited because of that stupid other small channel... Your song was amazing and I am so sorry you had to edit that amazing amazing video. Excited to see the song element return in this one. Love your work
