Yet another! I love how you alter the technique for each different type of smart key...punching out the logo area after construction is a smart way to go! Love love this waxy pull-up leather. Can you find a VW Jetta-type smart key, where the key part folds into the plastic cover?? It pops out the side. A friend has that car, want to make a case when my surgery heals up enough. That gives you time to find a similar key. 😀🤩

сделать то можно, но без спец инструмента далеко не уйдешь=)) а корявых работ в инете куча и со спец инструментом=)))

Well it’s a key-less access and push-to-start so you don’t really need to use the buttons every day.

I see that you've used another wetforming leather technique. Which one do you recommend - or produces a better result?
You can use both way , but In my opinion mold is better. My goal was without a mold and I am still studying :)
That was a nice piece of leather. I need to look it up.
**Because you're fabricating the cover flat before you mold it to the smart key, do you have to over cut the pattern or does the leather stretch to fit?
Thanks bro, I made pattern a bit bigger. and wet forming makes leather flexible. Hope it helps!

amazing work! may i know why the leather turns out rather shiny? is it the character of the leather itself?
It's already got shiny surface but after wet forming it gets more i think. :)

Do you have my glue list? It's hard to say, they are using many ways. some people just using only one glue . If you have to buy only one, I recommend kenda :)

: yellow, chemical smell, very strong, low price
2. intercom ecostic, high price
: white, no chemical smell, thin
3. Instant adhesive
: race, braiding, metal hardware (rarely)
4. B5 bond
: Beige, Thick, using for lining.

Because I tried before using only water soaked for 30minutes and the leather wasn't hardened. I use crazy hore leather by the way

Hey Hahns, how do you import the exact size of the key in illustrator and scale it to the size of the key?
I assume its based on the pattern in the background. If you know the size of the squares you can scale them to their originial size and the rest is going be the correct size as well
