The songwriting team is one of the most famous from the USA and is also known for the world hit "Raindrops keep fallin' on my head". Burt recently passed away at the age of 95 (08 Feb 2023).

Danke Deniz, das sehen wir bei I.C.P ähnlich. Die Verantwortung für diese Entwicklungen liegen wohl eher bei den Machern des NDR, der hier für Deutschland das ganze organisiert hat. Definitiv kein Feeling für Music die Leute. Wir stehen weiter hinter Laurita und werden sie, der Zeitpunkt ist noch nicht ganz klar, mit Ihrer Band hier in Freiburg wieder veranstalten. Darüber hinaus wird sie ziemlich sicher bei einer unserer Produktionen mit dabei sein.
I agree, Aretha sang it like she did and there is nobody else who can ever copy her. But it sound like you don't accept other musicians have fun and passion with songs like this. Your criticism is a bit disrespectful to all young artists who are out there fighting and just like to sing. Laurita has her own style and is therefore not comparable to others. I do not know if you sing and maybe you know that for people who do not have as much talent as Aretha Franklin it is hard work and the music business is not a simple industry for a young woman. Maybe you should experience it live. Thank you for your contribution.

While training many years ago a few of my coaches caught me "doing" a tune but not being mindful of the meaning behind it and it came across in my performance. I agree with your assessment but I don't think I was out of line in my critique. Also, my view is just a view like everyone else's. I'm sure she will improve. Potential is limitless.
