Lyrics There is a town in north Ontario, With dream comfort memory to spare, And in my mind I still need a place to go, All my changes were there. Blue, blue windows behind the stars, Yellow moon on the rise, Big birds flying across the sky, Throwing shadows on our eyes. Leave us Helpless, helpless, helpless Baby can you hear me now? The chains are locked and tied across the door, Baby, sing with me somehow. Blue, blue windows behind the stars, Yellow moon on the rise, Big birds flying across the sky, Throwing shadows on our eyes. Leave us Helpless, helpless, helpless.
OMFG!!! I've heard Neil Young sing this sitting on couches in the backyard in the sun in the early 1980's. I never thought anyone would really cover it well until now. Amazing. I wish I could see her live also.
Went to a gig at the Rainbow Theatre in Finsbury Park some time in the 70s where NY performed this, acoustic, by himself, on a kitchen chair, just like Angie. He was completely shitfaced (and so were we, the audience - well my friends and I were anyway). He got into a helpless rift, rocking back and forth on his chair, singing "helpless, helpless". We were on the edge of ours too, waiting for him to tip over. Nils Lofgren came out with a squeezebox and joined him, and slowly drew him back from the edge. Wow. That was so cool. Later, Melody Maker and/or New Musical Express may have canned it, but I loved that gig.

Lyrics
There is a town in north Ontario,
With dream comfort memory to spare,
And in my mind I still need a place to go,
All my changes were there.
Blue, blue windows behind the stars,
Yellow moon on the rise,
Big birds flying across the sky,
Throwing shadows on our eyes.
Leave us
Helpless, helpless, helpless
Baby can you hear me now?
The chains are locked and tied across the door,
Baby, sing with me somehow.
Blue, blue windows behind the stars,
Yellow moon on the rise,
Big birds flying across the sky,
Throwing shadows on our eyes.
Leave us
Helpless, helpless, helpless.

One of the best covers I've ever heard. What a voice! I've also got some serious guitar envy. Harmony H-78, I think.
Very well done, love the sound!
