I was balling through town on my 50 CC Honda ruckus when I heard some cop sirens coming behind me. I pulled over and thought they finally caught up with me; but they were after someone else. Just another day of raising a ruckus 50 CCs at a time!
one of the easiest things to do on your bike to avoid getting ganked by the 5 oh? make sure your license plate is CLEARLY VISIBLE! if the cop can see your plate clear as day? that removes one of the top reasons the fuzz have to pull you over! tucking your plate up underneath your fender facing down towards the rear tire? that gives them the excuse that they "can't see your tag!" to pull yer ass over and then come up with a story of how you were riding like "Fred Flintstone riding home on the Friday of a long weekend" and a possible litany of other trumped up charges that they can think of to help lower the power to weight ratio by lightening up yer wallet! so as long as you keep your spirited riding in areas that are not overly frequented by cops looking to hand you another possibly very costly ticket!
Doesnt that go on credit report? Available in insurance companies? I believe it does....this is not the 60s...this is everyone has access to the data era.....pay that crap is my advice better yet fight it if you can!
Depends on the area. You'll see this more in areas of high motorcycle theft or at certain times of the day (like late at night) in said areas as a preventative measure, usually in conjunction with some other violation unless they're specifically looking for a stolen bike. A cop just pulling over every bike checking to see if it's stolen just because they feel like it is likely a rare occurence. It is super easy to break traffic rules to give cops a reason to pull you over if they suspect something else is wrong, but this also happens with cars... if you drive like you haven't done anything wrong or aren't guilty of something, chances are you aren't getting pulled over.
Been pulled over on my 23 MT-10 when it was stock and was breaking her in. I was trying to vary the throttle and went 15 mph over the speed limit. But after I added the full exhaust and tune and doing the speed limit I was targeted and paced a couple of times. That’s when I put on cruise control and enjoy the scenery until they get tired of following me. 😀. I only get spicy on secluded country back roads. I’m in it for the twisties and really love throttling up as I come out into a long straight. My kinda bike life.
Bright yellow RS 660. Ride almost exclusively country roads for sport when I'm not on track. I've never been pulled over. I speed pretty egregiously most of the time but never when around people, houses, intersections, traffic or places a cop (or anyone else including animals) could hide. Basic rule: If you can't stop within the distance you can see, you're going too fast.
Any motorcycle can get you pulled over. It doesn't matter. Generally speaking, if you are riding at reasonable speeds, using your turn signals...like you are supposed to be doing, paying attention, and trying to ride safe, they won't bother you. Only the cops that are extremely bored and/or like Buford T. Justice will bother you for any little thing. I forgot to mention mistaken identity. That's possible too.
cant outrun camera image of your tag....if they light you up and you run? Very likely to end quite badly eventually ....many states can mail you the summons to appear in court off photo image and officer testimony....IF one is not going to pull over (the TRUE .01% OUTLAW bikers) ? No plate on motorcycle and dont keep wearing the same helmet and jacket in same area etc
In 1989 I was riding my 1988 Hurricane 600 (Red/white) in a completely safe manner in North Austin. That is a bit surprising as I was 24 and usually riding Mach 2 with my hair on fire. I got pulled over for literally no reason. After looking at my license the cop said, “there is another guy with a bike just like yours who runs from us all the time, so don’t be surprised when you get pulled over.” I miss that bike so much!
@ No, the 87 was white with red stripes and black with red stripes and then the ‘88 was red with white stripes or charcoal with black stripes and a red pin stripe. The 88 were absolutely mechanically identical to the 87.

Can confirm, started out on an RC390. I couldn't go an hour without a cop sniffing my butt. Switched to a 1290SAR and I basically have carte blanche to ride like a squid with one too many redbulls. It's great.
As an Aprilia rider, cops definitely look. Cant tell you how many slow down just to get behind me and see if i have a legal tag. Dont normally blue light me if im not speeding but they definitely take a HARD look
2006 Honda NT700 Deauville About as vanilla boring old-man bike as can be. Im talking CB500 or NC750X NPC kind of vibe Got pulled over once for speeding, didn't even have any registration on me, but the cop could check online and it was insured on my name No safety vest, no medic bag, 30km/h over the limit but he let me go with a 50eur fine, no repercussions Gotta love a boring honda for these situations
I have a old as 1989 Yamaha FZR1000. Its still fast as hell but I have never been pulled over on it. I have however had a couple of older cops geek out over it. I'll tell you who needs to be pulled over. The people hauling ass on the sidewalk riding ebikes and escooters.
Back in the 1980's ,I owned a standard silver KZ550 that was a blast to ride. I was driving ultra stupid on the interstate and drove right up on a state trooper, where I dumped the throttle and latched onto every darn bit of front and rear brakes I had to just get down to the speed limit. The sudden throttle closing at ultra high revs made the carbuerators flood the engine and kill it dead as hell. That probably saved my life. I tried to roll start the engine with the state tropper right behind me and it just would not start. I pulled over down the off ramp. The police officer could not give me a ticket for any infraction because I had successfully got near the legal speed limit before the bike died... But he got me on my bike insurance. Which, because of money troubles, I had cancelled the week before. I am glad today, that engine drowned itself in gasoline.
The only time I was pulled over was technically for speeding on my Triumph Street Triple, but what the officer said got his attention was me rapidly changing multiple lanes to get around some slow traffic. My Street Triple is stock. However, they do look a little like a sport bike.
In the hands of an experienced rider, a Street Triple going through traffic can be like a falcon diving through a flock of pigeons. It's very easy to get carried away and ride faster than common sense dictates. In my locale, traffic enforcement is almost completely lacking, but there is the occasional highway cop that I have to remind myself to watch for.
I've only been pulled over on my beginner dual sport (licence plate came off driving through a flooded area), and on my ADV for not stopping long enough at an empty stop street. Never on my sport touring VFRs or naked bikes.
Dude.. I am from India, and here, there is a strict no mods at all rule in place, and that goes especially for mufflers.. So basically, one of my friends who has an old kawasaki ninja 1000 which is bone stock, got pulled over because the cop felt that the exhaust was too loud, took a fine and impounded the bike.. We did end up suing the cop and got the money and the bike back, but dude was literally at a stop light when the cop did this XD
It's not just Ducati's, lol. I have a 1969 Honda trail 70, motor mod to 108cc that is tagged, legal, legit. I have been pulled over on it more than all other traffic stops combined in my 56 years living. It's Honda candy blue in color, with a lot of polished chrome aftermarket parts. The bike is absolutely a "young cop" magnet!!
My current bike is an '06 Honda 599 Naked bike and the closest I come to being pulled over was a cop yelled at me that my sticker on my plate had expired but my registration was good. Guess it pays to not live in a major urban area as I routinely am a bit heavy on the throttle but keep it within limits.
I’ve routinely been pulled over about once a year on my stock (ish) XSR900. Never got a ticket, only got one warning. Don’t be an idiot, be nice and respectful, they’ll do the same.
I got that 'stolen bike' excuse once. I had a brand new 2002 GSX-R 600 in black and yellow. Only a couple of days old. I had spotted the officer and was simply leaving a parking lot safely, but it was nighttime, and there was no one else around. He spun around and pulled me over for no reason. I live in a very small town. There was no other bike like it in town yet. They didn't even care if I believed their excuses or not. They held me up and gave a hard time for way longer than necessary, trying to prove who I was and who the bike belonged to. Definitely a 'profiling' stop. But the truth is, overall, I've had interactions with more good cops than bad ones. Often letting me off easy when they didn't have to.
Funny how you mention Harleys specifically when most riders want a louder bike no matter the ride. I've also noticed way more metric cruisers with louder pipes than Harleys lately. That being said, there are plenty of loud Harleys, and a lot of them are stock pipes believe it or not, but they're older models before the new EPA restrictions. I ride a 24 Street glide and the stock pipes make the bike sound like an angry sewing machine not like a motorcycle much less a Harley, took a look inside my pipes and the baffles are so small I doubt a rat could squeeze through them.
Kinda surprised you bypassed the 800 lb. gorilla... got totally profiled on my essentially stock Busa in Daytona during last Bike Week. I was riding sanely and lawfully, turned into the parking lot of the (now closed) BMW dealership, and when I got off, some riders there invited my attention to the two mounted DBPD officers who followed me into the turn lane and then rumbled off. I'm 65, for crying out loud, and I tend to ride like an adult and not a squid...most of the time...
I don't currently have a bike - but I had a XS650 that was a bland as it could be but it got pulled over regularly. I get paranoid about my bright red convertible but it still hasn't gotten nabbed...
Lmaooo i bought the green blue and white one and somehow ive yet to run into any trouble, i tend to like to go fast but not so unreasonable that im endangering myself or others though so maybe that plays a part.
3 years and >15k miles now with the VFR1200F, got pulled over twice, no tickets once they saw they’re talking to a responsible adult… or that’s what they thought.
I looked at local laws pertaining to LPVs especially those on two wheels just to get around on the cheep and what I figured out was that electric is the way to go. you can do up to about 4.5 kw of power for electric vs for gas is up to 50cc displacement which is crazy considering 4.5 kw is 6 hp. What 50cc engine do you know produces 6 hp, none. So I got a scooter which is over 2.4 kw for around 1000 dollars brand new and bam I got fast cheap transportation that can go 40 mph without the need for registration or insurance.
I live in NW Ohio I ride a 21 Iron 1200 sportster. I ride it like its a sport bike and with my buddies who are all on liter bikes and 600s. Only been pulled over 1 time in ft Wayne with my buddies. We were running 75-80 on the city streets saw a cop the other direction and my one buddy on his cbr600rr and I were the only 2 who stopped. Didnt even get a warning cop just said be careful and tell your buddies be careful. Then proceeded to chat with he cop about bikes. (he hadnt lit us up yet, we saw him and said yea were cooked so we pulled over and he came up about 30 sec later with his lights on)
In my country "classic" bikes or classic looking bikes i.e. most harley, bonneville or any big retro bike will be less likely to be targeted by the police no matter if they have loud illegal pipes(over 95dB is illegal in my country). As for the reason most retro biker have big connection and most traffic police dont wanna deal with it.
I'd say probably 90% of the street bikes in my town either don't have plates or have tucked plates for sure😂😂 the police department has a no Pursuit policy
I ride a 2024 Honda CB300R, I got ticketed when I got to my work place parking lot pretty much a month ago for allegedly going 50 on a 30 but I was passing people that were going 40-45 mph and he gave me a big ticket because I did not have insurance nor my endorsement but I'm working on it to this day
I get pulled over on my 60th anniversary r1 at least once a week considering I don’t deliberately run from the party lights. Now if I’m going Mach Jesus when I pass…
As a europian ( germany ) and a CBR 600 driver, i find it funny to think about being pulled over or not. if i don´t have anything to hide, pull me over. but thats to simple (: and yes i drove motorcycle for about 11 years now. cheers dear reader, have a great day/night.
Cb650r, never pulled over, but that might be because in DK police officers have an education longer than 6 months and does not have a bias towards any bikes in particular
Bmw s1000xr. Currently thinking that because it's a big upright bike, I'm kind of under the radar. Super under the radar if you'd consider this a superbike. Frequently doing speeds that are harmless, but mildly inappropriate, and the police have yet to even look at me sideways
You are such a 1000cc hater.... A cop or anyone can't even really tell between a 400 cc and or a 1000 cc bike whwn it's in motion. Just liter up and have fun! 🤣 2:32
If you hide your license plate (or if you make it difficult to see), you break the law. If a policeman/policewoman measures your speed (and you rode faster than the legal limit), you will receive a fine and a few penalty point. There is a reason why catalysts and mufflers exists. You have no right to poison the air or to disturb other people with noise. Using non-approved exhaust system is illegal (as it should be). If you "decat" your bike and get caught in a routine inspection, blame yourself. Not the police or the type/color of your bike. You have learned the traffic rules of your country and during the module 2 test (or whatever is the in-traffic test called in English) you had to prove that you can apply these rules...
If youre an inexperienced squid then don't try to outrun the pigs on your 400...I been racing Superbikes for over 40 years and I deliberately take out my Gixxer 1000 Turbo on the streets for racing practice to keep bike highly tuned and me in peak physical condition..If the police have the machine and ability to pass me above 180mph or 300kph then good luck to them I give up completely..Until then I just keep having endless fun at their expense..adrenaline is an awesome drug.
Several points you mention can be avoided by simply not breaking the law. Ohhh boy I got stopped for breaking the law, the police definitely stopped me because I'm riding X bike style
"Liter" = 1000cc literally any 1000cc motorcycle is a liter bike. Not sure where a few people concluded "liter bike" only means fully faied 200hp sportbikes with clip ons. Maybe from race commentators "Liter bikes are up next after the 250s" ? idk it just sounds ignorant especially to actually refuse to count a 1000cc "naked" sportbike as a "Liter bike" as if one fails to understand that the word "liter"= 1000cc? Like ignorant rappers referring to a shotgun as a "gage" lol because they evidently think guage in "12 guage" means gun? Hey just say "Liter fully faired sportbikes" if that is what you mean.....duhh
Great video Thx for it , my best being targeted by the police thingy is , I was picking jets for the lectrons on my big bore Kaw 750 2 stroke for the Canadian Nationals , was at a light close to home an when i got the green let it go through 1'st an second then shut it down to check the plugs see where i was at , top of second is 100mph , didn't know it but 2 cops were sitting in a um cop car right behind me at the light , my little 6 inch slick covered their windshield with rubber , i pulled over an was pulling a plug when they caught up , one cop jumped out of the car an was so mad the other cop made him sit in the cop car , the good cop only gave me a ticket for running a stop sign even though none were in site because it happened to fast to clock me an i dunno why nothing else ? think he liked the bike an the situation was kinda funny an felt bad the other cop pulled his gun an was going to shoot me but i dunno could have given me other tickets to easy , anyway think that's one of my best getting pulled over story's 🙂
Being targeted for stereotypes by police will never affect my decision for purchasing anything or any other decisions in my life. If you are being responsible put a camera on your bike or if you are going to break the law just accept the consequences. But screw perception buy what you like.

1. The one you’re riding at 120
2. The one without a plate
3. The H2R so I can look at it
Hope this helps.

Getting pulled over in a sports tourer because it's a liter bike lol
My vfr 800 gets plenty attention no need for the extra 200
Yammie. You are a wonderful person have a great day!
Post 2020 R1s always attract me 😌i mean so good design
" ...nonworking Ebay turn signals" .... HAHAHAHHAHAHH🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Pretty much every kawasaki with a green livery will get you pulled over regardless of cc
If you buy a bike the color of a highlighter pen, you want attention. So you will get attention.
Lmaooo i bought the green blue and white one and somehow ive yet to run into any trouble, i tend to like to go fast but not so unreasonable that im endangering myself or others though so maybe that plays a part.
Where would a Honda VFR land on the likely to be pulled over chart?
I'd imagine somewhere more likely due to V4 engine
3 years and >15k miles now with the VFR1200F, got pulled over twice, no tickets once they saw they’re talking to a responsible adult… or that’s what they thought.
@@RoeyHaviv 1200 is hardly a vfr. If it ain't gear driven it ain't it.
@@CutACrow don’t argue with me, argue with Honda.
Hilarious and thankfully, neither of my bikes attract unwanted attention. Very timely laughs, thank you.
That's what lawyers are for. Gotta pay to play folks. lol
You finally back in the DFW??
I looked at local laws pertaining to LPVs especially those on two wheels just to get around on the cheep and what I figured out was that electric is the way to go. you can do up to about 4.5 kw of power for electric vs for gas is up to 50cc displacement which is crazy considering 4.5 kw is 6 hp. What 50cc engine do you know produces 6 hp, none. So I got a scooter which is over 2.4 kw for around 1000 dollars brand new and bam I got fast cheap transportation that can go 40 mph without the need for registration or insurance.
I agree. Skip the liter bike. go to Busa. has lower top speed in 1st to!
(he hadnt lit us up yet, we saw him and said yea were cooked so we pulled over and he came up about 30 sec later with his lights on)
Always getting pulled over on my 125 because they are looking for a similar bike and to run the vin lol
I actually never did get pulled over but I was crazy going up to a cop with no license and registration but he never got behind me so no harm no foul
Not me on my Blacked Out ZX10R
Or you could remove ur plate and just ride in a "no chase" state lol
yep lol
I'd say probably 90% of the street bikes in my town either don't have plates or have tucked plates for sure😂😂 the police department has a no Pursuit policy
I lost my license on a Honda 250 . Bloody thing easily done 120kms in a 60kms zone.😊
I ride a 2024 Honda CB300R, I got ticketed when I got to my work place parking lot pretty much a month ago for allegedly going 50 on a 30 but I was passing people that were going 40-45 mph and he gave me a big ticket because I did not have insurance nor my endorsement but I'm working on it to this day
Even tho I have 'only' a Ninja 400, the Kawa Green always stands out and gets me pulled over
I get pulled over on my 60th anniversary r1 at least once a week considering I don’t deliberately run from the party lights. Now if I’m going Mach Jesus when I pass…
150cc to 300cc scooters are notorious for being pulled over they are just quick enough to go 55 to 85mph which can be awkward
Which bike should I avoid if I’m a Magnet to hitting porches at high speeds 🤔
As a europian ( germany ) and a CBR 600 driver, i find it funny to think about being pulled over or not.
if i don´t have anything to hide, pull me over.
but thats to simple (:
and yes i drove motorcycle for about 11 years now.
cheers dear reader, have a great day/night.
europian sounds like dystopian.....btw how's the Reich doing these days? LMFAO
sounds like an awful place to live... no thanks
Move to Ireland man, I’ve never been pulled over in 35 hrs riding 🏍️
Cb650r, never pulled over, but that might be because in DK police officers have an education longer than 6 months and does not have a bias towards any bikes in particular
It's now an 'L' endorsement in the US. I got my license this summer. 3:17
9 stops in 5ish years between my zx6r and vstar 1100.
No tickets yet.....yet😂
Got pulled over during my Road test lol 😆 he just wanted to check my paperwork, and chexk the bike 🏍 😅...
Bmw s1000xr. Currently thinking that because it's a big upright bike, I'm kind of under the radar.
Super under the radar if you'd consider this a superbike.
Frequently doing speeds that are harmless, but mildly inappropriate, and the police have yet to even look at me sideways
Mini bike gangs. AKA clown ride 😂
Clovis, CA made the cut
If youre an inexperienced squid then don't try to outrun the pigs on your 400...I been racing Superbikes for over 40 years and I deliberately take out my Gixxer 1000 Turbo on the streets for racing practice to keep bike highly tuned and me in peak physical condition..If the police have the machine and ability to pass me above 180mph or 300kph then good luck to them I give up completely..Until then I just keep having endless fun at their expense..adrenaline is an awesome drug.
BMW R 1150r no attention just respect.
my Duke 390 is a magnet in the uk
Make a EICMA 2024 video. Hero's cooking with 250cc segment bikes.
GHOSTRIDER from Sweden has entered the chat
If you ride a 1k; you're in full leathers; rocking no plates, it becomes a game of " I dare you to try " 😏
what's the bike at 1:57 ?
Several points you mention can be avoided by simply not breaking the law. Ohhh boy I got stopped for breaking the law, the police definitely stopped me because I'm riding X bike style
In Italy I get pulled over almost every day and I ride a ktm rc 125 😅
As a new rider, I didn't get pulled over, instead the motorcycle cop gave me a thumb up haha
Dont wanna get pulled over, buy a goldwing and grow a dad bod
Content is dry eh?
If you dont appreciate this place thats fine, no one is forcing you to come here. 🤷
@@weirdtimes3591 the glaze lmao. ain’t that deep, channel is just futile, I’m allowed to leave feedback
Brother check out the Tuono 457
Uffff, no naked bikes here ;). BTW, I was pulled over on my XSR 125 once but never on my XSR 900 :)
All day everyday CAN'T CATCH THE R1 'mysquid'...
You will only get pulled over if you stop. Never stop for cop.
Is there a vehicle that will allow you to just be left alone? 😮
2015 Toyota Camry
2001 F650GS
Nice bike.
Unfortunately, I have renounced all cages.
I was expecting the answer to be a government vehicle.
Try a 1959 Cushman Scooter. You could die of boredom, but they will leave you alone.
Just about any scooter over 50cc will get you ignored.
So… long story short: Buy a stock cruiser or touring bike and just leave it the way it came.
Busa @5:25
Adv dad bikes attract zero interest from cops.
Being targeted for stereotypes by police will never affect my decision for purchasing anything or any other decisions in my life. If you are being responsible put a camera on your bike or if you are going to break the law just accept the consequences. But screw perception buy what you like.
“Small displacement sport bikes like 600’s” *cries in 125*
