Today, I am so excited to share my thoughts on the NEW! Hourglass Ambient Soft Glow Foundation and the Soft Glow Foundation Brush. I have been playing with this new foundation for a few days and have some thoughts. I will be demo'ing the product, doing a few check-in throughout the day and giving you my final thoughts. Abby, the Hourglass foundation looks amazing on you! Even though you already have beautiful skin the foundation does give the soft focus the Hourglass powders give. I purchased the foundation unsure if I picked the right shade. I can’t wait to receive it. The foundation held up nicely the entire day on your skin and it’s great you did not need to use setting powder. Very nice review on the foundation and other Hourglass products. Always love seeing Olaf so adorable!! 😊❤️

Hi Abby! I’m curious to know your thoughts on this foundation vs Chantecaille future skin foundation…. Your skin looks amazing!!
Future Skin is in my Top 5 of all foundations. LOVE it! So that one feels more hydrating whereas this one feels more velvety- serum like. I do really like the Hourglass but have only used it for a few days- whereas Future Skin I have used for more than a decade. LOL! I am aging myself. I hope this helps somewhat. xoxo

Wow, after you applied the foundation…your face looks dewy and not dull! I love it! Even after the checkin, your face is just glowing!!! I normally use Nars because I like light weight foundations….hourglass doesn’t look heavy on you at all. It does look silky! Hmmm, I will definitely give hourglass a try!!!!

All the Hourglass products just blended in together so well and your skin looked awesome. Need to find my gloss...I have that color somw where..lol
You can wear any foundation, you still look good regardless which one you choose.

I’m usually a hint darker than you. Do you know of shade 5 is vastly different to 4,5 - when I use the shade finder it’s throws up a shade like 7 which is definitely to dark for me.Thanks!
Jodi- I felt like 5 would work for me as well! I don't think it looks vastly different.... and the 7's do seem like a bigger jump but I am not sure. So sorry! xoxo

Abby, you are blessed to have such beautiful, pore-less skin! Today’s Hourglass makeup looks super pretty. It held up very well in the summer heat - 11 hours later it still looked great. Your skin but better.

Looks beautiful! Seemed undetectable and smoothing, although you have super smooth skin to start. Would you say it’s more coverage than the Future Skin?
Lisa- this definitely has more coverage than Future Skin. FS is in my Top 5 of Favorite Foundations -but it is sheer to light coverage but makes your skin look so plump and healthy. This one is more velvety- soft focus- and medium coverage. I hope this helps. xoxo

you look amazing in this are you using a specific primer underneath the foundation? if so can i ask what primer you use if you are using one?
I am not using a primer underneath the foundation. I have just my regular skincare routine- along with my Glo Skin Beauty SPF 50. BUT it was sunken in by the time that I did this video. I hope this helps! I don't think you need a primer with this one. xoxo
Hi, I hope you would be able to help me.I want to get the foundation brush, I am looking for something that blends in all foundations. Should I go for the older foundation brush or the new foundation brush? Which one do you like more? And which brush is more versatile ?
I really love the new brush more than the old brush (which I also love) but the new one is SO soft and really curves the face and under the eyes, It is fantastic for liquid, cream and serum foundations. I also can use it with cream bronzers and blush. I hope this helps!!

I need to stop by Nordstrom to get a sample if you think it is also good for dry mature skin. I have the hourglass flat foundation brush which is my favorite one but it is getting old so time to get the new one.

Hey Abby ! Great review ❤️ quick question, how does this compare to the Tom Ford Glow foundation? I’m trying to find a dupe for the Tom Ford foundation (can’t seem to find my shade). I’m looking for a similar glowy finish as the Tom ford
It did remind me of the TOM FORD Glow! I loved that one too! This one does not have quite as much GLOW as that one did but it does have a bit more coverage. Definitely worth checking out! I hope this helps.! xoxo

Do you have the other hourglass foundation brush ?
Yes, I have the Vanish Brush and LOVE it! The new one is softer and smaller and not quite as dense. It works great with the foundation and other foundations too! xoxo
