Amorim Tiago You’re right, it’s inherently better for them to be in the wild dying of diseases, eaten by predators, in pain from dental problems and wounds, starving or parched, and at the mercy of poachers, rather than being fed and cared for all the time. Also, there’s gonna be species that will extinct everywhere EXCEPT in zoos, sooner or later. Really depends on the species and their tolerance for space limitations and climate variation.
@@Fantallana Guess the sources of most of those issues ? Humans... And diseases animals get in the wild are just like "shit happens" and they deal with it. How do the other animals of the same species survive otherwise ?

I LOVE how they have kept the same box opening animation as in RCT3. Where you put the animal down in an enclosure and it opens like a present. Brings back so many memories 😀😀

This looks absolutely fantastic! The animals, animations, rendering... and from what I've seen from the gameplay videos, it seems to have everything I wish for in a zoo building/simulation game! I can't wait to play!! :)
I've waited 15 years for this game. Zoo Tycoon was my favorite game growing up and I played it through all the years. I'm so excited to see it with workshop because with the ability to get mods the options will be truly limitless. I've been jumping with excitement since the moment this was announced :D

I already told my wife. My childhood is coming back. I made sure that she remembers from 24th till the 8th she will have a 28 years old kid living in home that is constant behind the computer and doesn't want to do anything. Best thing.. for now she agreed.

No one does lol. Assuming it's anything like planet coaster, even the top of the line PC will run into performance issues rather quickly. Frontier doesn't care much for optimization.
@@Tibovl Yeah it runs smooth until you start building more than like three themed rides in the same park. I just built a park with 3 rides, a modest amount of scenery and theming for each, and my fps is around 20. It's not my computer, the optimization just sucks. i7 7700k, gtx 1080, 16 gigs DDR4 3200mhz. My PC runs every other game just fine.

Woop I was 50th! Gemmies!!! I adore gemsbok! At least that's what I think they are... I haven't seen them since my trip to the Kglahadi! But they will make such a great Kalahari exhibit with the springbok! and maybe ostriches and a giraffe or two... The ideas are limitless!!!

i hope that at some point there will be water snakes as well. especially considering how many of just snakes in general are threatened. and there are some really cool ones as well like the Geophis damiani and the leaf-scales sea snake
I agree, those giraffes were falsely imprisoned, it was a stitch-up I tell ya. Three men in giraffe suits. They were very clever, even left some giraffe faeces on the floor of the bank vault.
I am still waiting for Frontier to make Planet Splash and Planet Resort. RCT3 with all its expansion is still one of my favorites... but I have to say, this is good!

One thing that this game needs is a cardboard box, so all the big cats can, "if I fit, I sit."
there is a cardboard box already, but it is rather small & I have seen only chimpanzees playing with it in one of the official videos.
Cardboard boxes are in the game already as a fun enrichment item. Big cats can play with cardboard boxes by swiping and biting them.
