And they’re usually always the most powerful beings in the universe. So today, well we’re gonna take a look at a few dragons from across a whole bunch of different universes, ranking them all from weakest to strongest. So let’s get to it!

Super Shenron is not only the biggest known dragon in media, but he's powerful enough to grant any wish, including bringing back universes that were erased from existence.

@@anferneerickett6634 The fact that Super Shenron can grant ANY wish is proof of his power, especially since he RESTORED MULTIPLE UNIVERSES. How do you still do not understand that when it's so obviously proof? Plus, Super Shenron is still bigger than Void Ghidorah. Nothing you say can refute that, and you know it. Super Shenron is clearly bigger than Void Ghidorah, and you can't prove that Void Ghidorah is more powerful. Void Ghidorah destroying pales in comparison with Super Shenron's feat of restoring multiple universes.

DanCo, would you please add a little part in the beginning as to the criteria you use to judge these lists? Or, perhaps add a line to each entry with a quick reason why each entry is higher ranked than the one before it, please?
I dont know too much about some of the higher placed dragons, but i definitely think Ancalagon should have been placed much higher, when you've read and understand what he was and how powerful he actually was your perspective should change as to his immense power. Melkor/Morgoth bred him for one reason and one reason alone, to be an unstoppable instrument of war, and quite nearly was. His size alone should place him extremely high on the list as i dont think there is a dragon that comes close to him in that regard, he was literally bigger and taller than whole mountain ranges. He was set loose when elvish advance were making too much headway and his introduction onto the battlefield had an immediate effect he drove their host all the way back with his size, strength, fire and power. one might even say he was more evffective than the Balrogs.

he drove back the combined hosts of the Valar (the largest army ever assembled in history) by himself. the Valar were basically little g gods and they were fighting on the front lines of said battle, and they were all but defeated until Eärendil used a one of a kind weapon, the Silmaril (of which they only had one) to bring him down, this was basically a perfect holy jewel that functioned as a weapon towards evil, and was the only weapon they had that could even harm him, and when he fell from the sky, his body alone crushed four mountains. So not even gods (more aptly archangels) were able to stop him. It's also worth noting that lesser dragons of his brood destroyed entire armies, were capable of telepathy (and basically mind control), wielded powerful sorceries and were immensely intelligent and cunning.
that's like alduin taking on the combined forces of all the daedra (minus let's say dagon or molag bal who is commanding them) and they have basically lost when they're saved by a hero with a god tier magic weapon at the end

Hmmmmm Definitely think Darkstalker from the wings of fire books should of been on here, even if he was low on the list. He can read minds and see nearly all possible futures. he possesses magic that can do almost anything, he was only defeated after his own magic was used against him turning him into a baby.

problem is he lacks feats. he hasn't been shown to, say, turn the earth into magma or rearrange the order of the stars. His feats put him on mountain level at best. However, his mind control and immortality is pretty fucking powerful

This was a great list, and I love learning about the ones I hadn't heard of before, but I was REALLY hoping Aurelion Sol from League of Legends would make this list. The true version of him from Runeterra lore is much more powerful than the nerfed avatar of him we can play as in the games. He can be any size he wants between a modest horse and a galaxy. He created EVERY star in the universe, and he can drop miniature stars to the surface of the planet like meteors at will. And as long as at least one star still exists, he shall live on.

@@fabricepoot1045 lol I know. Ghidorah has over +20 versions each unique and far more powerful than httyd dragon characters. And legendary and void ghidorah can easily neg off almost every httyd dragon. But there are a few httyd dragons that are faster and smarter than ghidorah, but like that helps. except if toothless sticks to godzilla for help.

One of the Eight Kings: Dragon King Derous from Toriko, can also be placed in the list, Derous is quite garagantuan, an average human is mere dust compared to his hand alone and he can also fire interdimensional laser.

It's trinity…my most absurd oc…trinity the infinity dragon. Has the ability to do literally anything she wants with enough time and effort.
Is immortal until the end of the universe. Is linked to the universe directly. Her presence alone can warp reality and shatters planets. Has dealt with multidimensional beings. Casually lives inside the cores of stars. Has canonically swallowed a black hole. Her energy shield is completely impenetrable. And she can specifically target and alter the laws of physics and the universe to nerf threats higher than her. Basically she can code reality itself to be her servent…
Her only weakness is that her permenant energy shield leaves behind dangerous crystals that if stabbed with can lock her in physical space until the crystal is destroyed.
I don't want to sound rude since this is your oc but Alduin would be too much due to lore. He basically is if Galactus were a black dragon that was the literal embodiment of the end.

You didn’t mention how Alduin is said to devour the entire Kalpa and world in the end of time. A Kalpa is a measurement of time that separates ages and timelines. And every celestial body seen in the night sky is actually the bodies of the Divines, making them infinite in size. So, Alduin, who’s much smaller than most dragons on this list, is consuming not only entir timelines, but infinite celestial bodies, which are in themselves are infinite in size. Making him at the very least Complex Multiversal.
