Mowing Time on Anglesey.

Summertime, somewhere in Wales and after a dry week and breezes to dry the grass, farmers are getting their fields mown. The silage will feed their animals over the long hard winter to come. With a little bit of luck they should get another crop out of this field before summer is over. Modern tractors are a far cry from when horses pulled the mowing equipment.
In a few days if the weather is kind, and the silage has been turned a time or two, the grass will be baled and wrapped up in plastic wrapping, before being taken back to the farm and stacked, ready for winter.
