We are a couple who are building our own home from the ground up in the mountains of West Virginia. After living near the city our entire lives we finally decided to sell it all, pack up our 3 kids and live in an RV on our 73 acres while we building our own off-grid house and learning to live a more self-reliant life.
Our house build is documented entirely on our main channel "Wild Wonderful Off-Grid". This channel is dedicated to short vlogs showing our life outside the build.
Just had a thought that made me laugh... for the His and Hers bathrooms, you should have Lilly and Leon signs... 🤣
I'm still waiting for the shirts with Leon and Lilly. Better yet squeez all the farm critters on it.

Man, Josh is very passionate about the electrical work. That guy knows a ton and does excellent work. The money you guys saved is got to be astronomical having him installing everything. You guys definitely never let the grass grow under your feet. You’re on the go 24/7 and it looks awesome.
Erin, your hair is absolutely beautiful and it baffles me how you can do all of the work you do and never get it caught in anything. Josh, what a fantastic wiring job you've done in your restaurant by making it so safe.
I can’t even finish painting my daughters bathroom and you two are finding a way to tackle the coffee shop and the addition on the house 😂. Keep safe and laughing while working.

These guys have been used to work almost each and every day for three years if I am correct. It is called focus, drive and persistence. I am no fan of painting either.

I have to say, one of my favorite things is watching Josh do electrical installations. It is just such a pleasure to see a true professional do such clean work. I guess I am kind of strange, but I find watching his electrical work very fulfilling.

Erins comments to Josh about picking up the wire clippings was funny and reminded me of work one day. i was a carpet installer and one day at work in a new house i had gone through, swept the floors clean, put down my tack-strips and as i started bringing in the padding i seen the electrician had been going behind me and as he finished out his outlets and switches, he was just letting his wire clippings and plastic wrappers fall everywhere in the rooms. i was going to go yell at him but couldn't find him so i swept up the floors again and as i was finishing up i seen he was outside eating his lunch. he had left his toolbox wide open in the last place he was working so as i swept the mess up i put it all in his toolbox along with all the additional fine dust that came with his trash. when he came back in i fully expected him to yell at me or even start a fight, but as he looked at the mess in his toolbox, he started to say something to himself then stopped mid thought. he realized he was to blame for this. he never said anything to me or apologized for the mess, but he did pick up his trash the rest of the day. over the years anytime we would be working on the same house he always had a trash bucket with him and never left a mess for others to clean up again. messing with a tradesman's toolbox is a powerful statement/offense.

There is something so satisfying to see a job well done. The electrical work is top notch. I was in major industrial facilities and data centers so I have seen some of the best...and sadly, some not so great. I just loved the look on Erin's face when she was stirring the paint with an empty piece of armored cable. Great fun! Thanks for including us.

Wallpaper that room with a Bright wall paper, should only take 1 roll. I know Josh is a 1st class Electrician (we call them Sparks in the UK) but he still amazes me how he remembers where each wire goes to. I love the colour you picked for the seating, Its all the niggly bits at the end that are left to do, always afrid you might miss one. Coming along great ,are you having an opening ceremony??.
