I carry the Maxpedition Micro daily. It rides in my right front pocket. I keep it unzipped for quick access to the knife and flashlight while the organizer remains in my pocket.
I only have one EDC pouch, the Maxpedition MRZ Mini Organizer and I love it! I don’t really have a need for multiple pouches, but if I did, I’ll always go with Maxpedition! 👍🏻
Thank you for an interesting article. Excellent presentation. I carry/local travel with my OBag and my TKell bag. My carry equipment consists of... Keyport, Olight, Gerber glass breaker,, Tekna Xtra-Edge, Klein Tools 56403, Leatherman Charge + Orange handle, Spyderco Para 2 or 3, QSP Toukan, ChannelLock 424 pliers, Buck 112 Lite Orange handle, and Kizer Swaggs Swayback purple handle.. Cheers from Texas.
I use the Gondek ranger wallet for a pouch. It’s amazing and light. I keep a maxpedition micro in my truck. Also on the way I have the ALPAKA hub pouch that looks really good.
I wouldn't include any pouch in a top 10 list that had accessibility issues like a few on this list did. A pouch limited to a zip along one edge disqualifies itself as a top contender right there. On another topic, I wish Vanquest would produce a pouch that matched the Maxpedition Micro's dimensions. Vanquest's smallest is just a tad too large to comfortably fit a regular pocket.
I have the Vanquest slim in my bag, great pouch. Also, doesn’t offer as much organization but I carry the Recycled Firefighter small Truckie pouch. Super high quality, simple build but works great. Really wish he would restock them!
Great video buddy! I’m always on the hunt for a small edc pouch to carry those few extra bits and bobs. Definitely a few here I’d consider. Thanks for sharing. All the best 👍🏻👍🏻
Good video. I like seeing direct comparison of the pouches that I'm interested in. I also always want to know if they're made in USA, or China, or Russia. I'm more interested in compartmented pouches that are a bit larger or taller, such as the VANQUEST PPM-Slim 2.0 .
Great collection of EDC pouches! Recently picked up the GBG mighty pouch + but definitely going to pick up a few other brands of micro clamshell style pouches!
Viperade makes some really nice pouches, the one you showed IMO isnt one of them though. The VE15 in particular is what I have and its similarly sized but has a patch strip on the front and a zipper pocket on the rear making it way better. I got sucked into the GBG mighty pouch hype too, but after looking at enough of them the clamshell style are larger in every dimension and even if u could get it in a pocket it would be stuffed in there. They make one just like it but i found the VE13 or VE15 worked better for me
Vanquest looks amazing, and the price isn’t so bad when you take into account it’s construction. How does one go about attaching MOLLE products when all you have to work with are PAL connections? I’d like to buy that for my messenger bag, but I don’t know how to overcome that hurdle.
Great job man! How do you make your worry stone, that you showed towards the end, please? I've carried various ones since 60's. Each marks a stage or event. My favorite is a solid & very oiled wooden one, from the Chippewa River in 1977 .. when I was staggering from a 60 mph flip off a motorcycle, from paved road onto dirt. Weird worry rock story, eh? I nearly feel the hand of God everytime I rub it. It's bulky though .. I'd love to make my own now, perhaps borrowing your technique, kind sir?
I hate pretty much all " micro " pocket organizers because they're all way too big, especially too big to be called a " micro ". Most can't comfortablyiand easily ride in my left front pocket, and that defeats the purpose. A pocket organizer should fit in your pocket. The only pocket organizer I've ever found to be suitable for the small things I carry and no bulkier than it needs to be is the yellow birch outfitters pocket pico. It's been in my pocket every day since June of 2021, and it's been great. I also carried a Gatura for awhile ( maybe 6-8 months) and it's great, 1000x better than the maxpedition micro that never worked out that well for me , but the zipper is huge and unesscessarily bulky in that area. I'm not even sure if they're still around anyways since they were from the Ukraine. The YBO just gets a lot more things right for me, and it's made here in the USA which is a bonus.
Great video I like #5 and the second one from Etsy. Many sellers will customize certain details for you. It may take a little longer because they're making an item to your specifications. I didn't mind waiting for exactly what I wanted for my EDC pouch. I needed one tall enough for the Anker 20,000mAh power bank and Anker fast charging ports with MOLLE attachments. It It's about 11" tall, 8"w and 1.5" deep. MOLLE webbing & attachments w/ side pockets on the inside for USB cords. $15. I have it a few costs of Scotchgard to keep it dry & easily cleaned. It's a year old and gone through hell in the field on the Cuomo brothers/Epstein investigation.
Says "if you dont want to try to snag a mighty pouch heres an alternative thats the same size" shows pouch that looks nothing like a garage built pouch in size or function 🤷♂️😂
Looks like a glorified change purse, just trying to wrap my head around these micro "EDC" pouches and 1" flashlights... 😂To each his own but just don't seem comfortable or practical for any kind of rapid deployment... I guess if you want something to put chapstick, nail clippers and a tiny useless knife in they are cool...? 🤣You can make a "cool" lanyard! and get super cool patches!😆
The moment they put the "EDC" on the product name, they skyrocket the price, overvalued af. I would love to see your pouches tho, since I couldn't find such cheap pouches in Greece!
It’s called a spending plan. You can afford to buy higher quality goods so long as you budget well; but far be it from me to get in the way of your monthly trips to thrift shops to replace all your broken crap.
For people who have less extra stuff to carry but still want a pouch that has a loop area for patches, I recommend this pouch from Amazon... ruclips.net/video/4NSYZFnbfA4/видео.html Its sturdy, I use it for my extra power battery and the cables it needs. Its smaller, so it cant hold as much but some people might prefer that idk.
I carry the Maxpedition Micro daily. It rides in my right front pocket. I keep it unzipped for quick access to the knife and flashlight while the organizer remains in my pocket.
👍🏼I just got the #9.
No branding on it. $8 eBay. First pouch. I’m liking it.

Take a look at the Alpaka range!
Hide n Drink from Amazon is my EDC awesome and not hard on budget

Budget alternative... Gentlestache Pocket Organizer, 4.6 x 3.2 x 1.2 inches, ~$16 on Amazon. Very small.
I use the Obag edcs tactical bag.

I love my Maxpedition micro pouch as my EDC. It’s stuffed full
Really enjoyed this one. I use the maxpedition carry it in my backpack. Say hey to your wife and girls.
Wow✌️Nice collection. Mine is pouch #9 and for my edc stuff it's the perfect size, cuz i always carry the rat2 in the pocket not in the pouch
Very well done video!!! I've been looking for something like this, thank you very much for the quality content here on RUclips...
I have the Vanquest slim in my bag, great pouch. Also, doesn’t offer as much organization but I carry the Recycled Firefighter small Truckie pouch. Super high quality, simple build but works great. Really wish he would restock them!
Hey man, thanks so much for the video. Great selection, great review. Appreciate it.
Thank you for displaying the dimensions.
Bro TEMU! OMG the cheap EDC junk. So many bags and pouches
Thank you for your videos and all the edc storage and knife storage designs.
Great video buddy! I’m always on the hunt for a small edc pouch to carry those few extra bits and bobs. Definitely a few here I’d consider. Thanks for sharing. All the best 👍🏻👍🏻
This video was just what I was searching for. Thanks!
Maxpedition and Vanquest remain top for me. Good to see the other options though.
My mans got them Dr. Strange hands
Thanks 👍
Very interested in that garage built gear. Thanks so much Mr Stassa
Check out Yellow Birch Outfitters. I have a few of their PocKit picos and they are outstanding quality.
That gold foil etsy pouch looks like a PocKit copy

Awesome video!
I just ordered a handmade leather one for 22 from BeaverCreek Leather.
Cool video thanks.
Love the review! Definitely helped me with my decision.👍🏼
Great collection of EDC pouches! Recently picked up the GBG mighty pouch + but definitely going to pick up a few other brands of micro clamshell style pouches!
Fun stuff!
where do you get those mini channel locks?? i need me a set of those for my edc asap
I carry my Garage Built Gear mighty pouch plus everyday.

Does viperade make one that will fit a field notes notebook?
Good job.

Muy interesante todo
For anyone who has bought other pouches and not a Garage Built Gear MP+. Yes they can be hard to get. They are 100% worth it
Hi! This is a cool video! Thanks for showing it!
Where did you buy the No Knife No Life patch? Thanks
Not sure if anyones mentioned this but Ursa Goods changed his name to The Matsey a few months ago which may be why you couldn’t find him
Still cant find them
Nice
Curious in that most pouches have the ykk zippers, yet are so rare in tents.hmmm?
11:22 what is that kryptek camo thing? Great video!
great content thanks
What pen is in that #5 pouch? TIA
You should check out Gatura
Will any of these hold a regular field notes?
Hi, Where did you get that Victorinox scale?
Where do you get/source those little range eye patches on the #1 pouch?
What knipex is that mini one?

why don't any of these have belt loops?
Last time I saw so much unused gear it was instore…
I wish I could find an ursa navigator
Great video

YKK is basically the only zipper company left.
Kinipex?
👍🍻
That cough sounds scary

It’s almost identical to my garage gear might pouch plus and functions for all the same things. You must not own an ALPAKA pouch
У деда очень страшные руки. Перчатки надеть нужно было.
Sigh. Nothing against your content, but could you please wash your hands before shooting videos?

Oh my God...you need to get your hands checked out by a dermatologist.
Looks like it’s healed burns, what can they do about it?
@@YoitsDro Live their best life. Unfortunately, doctors couldn’t remove the stick up SpiderDeuce’s bum, so his trials are a little more burdensome.
It’s you’re favorite and can’t pronounce the name???
Lol, I watched this just for entertainment purposes. I pick up small camera pouches at thrift stores for 25 - 50 cents apiece. Smh .....fanboys ???
The moment they put the "EDC" on the product name, they skyrocket the price, overvalued af. I would love to see your pouches tho, since I couldn't find such cheap pouches in Greece!
Seriously, $60, hell no.
I’m sure you’re getting high quality construction for $0.25
