I had a 1972 mk 4 here in the UK about 40 years ago and to this day regret selling it, it's my dream to own one again. Absolutely my favourite car of all time.
@@matthewberkin5924 it was a dark brown metallic with tan interior, and yeah I used to wash and wax it regular, I think I spent more on cleaning products than I did on fuel haha, and you're right I was young and had a change of vehicle.
No need to bash other cars to compliment others, unless you're just insecure that way. Personally I think these were bloated, chrome laden overweight gas hogs that were designed in a tone deaf post-73 gas crunch bubble. No wonder Ford nearly went bankrupt in the early 80s. Good luck keeping this white whale fueled in the age of +$4 a gallon gas. Those 460 V8s will pass anything but a gas station.
Wish the showroom lights could have been turned off when the dashboard lights were on. That model has the most beautiful night display of any car I've driven.
Really nice land yacht Mark 4, for short money. She's a keeper! Back in the early 90s, I almost bought this same car, a 73, chocolate brown with black top/black leather, 48k for $2000 bucks! Man, I regret not buying it big time!
Ive an 73 Burgundy T-Bird and this gorgeous Lincoln , in time, will be my next upgrade. Although I truly love the Grand Marquis coupe as well. Oh well some day. As usual great vehicle and well done vid Thank You
Beautiful car! I have a question about the rear portion of the vinyl top. On the underside of the rear window, there looks like white tape covering up where the seams might be. Can you clarify if that's a repair, or if that's how the car was manufactured? Thanks!
What a beauty, art on wheels, those iconic electric seats,Legendary

What a Beauty. I had a 1976 Lincoln Mark IV. ❤️❤️
One of the most beautiful luxury cars ever made! Makes BMW'S and Mercedes look like junk!

Agreed
I remember the model. So much change in 50 years. Ford built a fantastic car of its day. What America is all about.

Beautiful. '72 has always been my favorite Lincoln Mark.
