TT races in Assen. Florian Camathias and Hilmar Cecco from Switzerland win the sidecar race from H. Scheider and Strauss from Germany. John Surtees of Great Britain wins the 500cc. Gary Hocking from Rhodesia drops out due to a broken engine. Surtees' mother, as a coach, keeps track of the times and after the race Surtees drives to see her.
