Your tips were helpful :) When I listened to Celine tam while this song, i thought I should be on high pitch. But in your video i understood, to do possible to us... Easier... That will look nice...I loved myself and enjoy while singing. I am still learning the high pitch.

Damn, you're amazing! I am recording this song for my mom, and I am not a singer by any stretch, but I wanted to tell my mom how much I love her support in the best way that I could. I clicked out of curiosity and stayed out of pure amazement. You just made my thank you to my mom 100 times better than it would have been 10 minutes ago. Thank you.

Why does no one sing the second verse to this song? There is a second verse: "There is no life, no life without its hunger / Each restless heart beats so imperfectly / But when you come and I am filled with wonder / sometimes I think I glimpse eternity." I do this song often at Karaoke (Westlife's version), and I sing the second verse over what is really an instrumental break. Also, after the second verse I build and build until at the beginning of the last iteration of the chorus I'm at rafter rattling volume, but then bring the last phrase down to where the last word is almost a whisper. People are always amazed that I sing two verses, and I've been asked if I added the second verse myself, but no -- Celtic Women do both verses. As Karaoke singers go, I'm pretty good, but there's a lot in your videos that I can (and will) use. Thank you for making your videos.

I don't think many here know who really composed this beautiful song: "You Raise Me Up" The composer is our norwegian composer Rolf Løvland from my home city of Kristiansand. At his mother's funeral, he performed the song as an instrumental version : "Silent Story" Then later Fionnuala Sherry, Irish violinist, and Rolf Løvland in " Secret Garden" , get the Irish writrer/author Brendan Graham to write the lyrics. The song came out first on Secret Garden- album "Once In A Red Moon" 2001 and sung by Brian Kennedy. Later many others performed.
Jan Werner Danielsen another norwegian artist, died too young at 30ys, he was a promesing one. There is only one video, you hear him singing, but I think this record was from his funeral? But he recorded "You Raise Me Up "with Secret Garden after the Asian- tour.. Our Jan Werner is the best singer of this beautiful song, also because he put so much feeling in his voice when singing. I will recomend the other songs he recorded. And Rolf Løvland, congratulations for a master piece for ever.. The song was played today at my local radio👍

I love this song and I am learning to sing it. I do not know how to read music but I am working hard to learn. I have a wonderful choir coach that is working with me. I just happened upon your lessons and it is a big help when I am practicing at home. Wish me luck as I will be singing this in church sometime in November with the choir backing me.
