I'm pretty sure we've all done the "leg up" body language or something similar before! I know occasionally I'll turn my whole remote to the left or right to give it more steering or lift the remote up to make it jump higher. Hey, we know it works and that's all that matters!
It's a nice change to see somebody appreciating some of their older rc cars! I don't know about you but I've come to appreciate all my rcs more . Not everyone can buy the latest and greatest rcs all the time
The grass isn't greener on the other side, Guy. We don't have to deal with snow, but the trade-off is lots of mosquitos, random thunderstorms, 3 day storms, hurricanes, and 100% humidity almost year round. Oh, and the pollen. Runny nose every morning from that crap lol 😂
you know its cold when RC guy garage starts talking to the camera about how cold it is lol. really love the 3s arrma line man, i really think its the sweet spot when it comes to hobby grade rc. sure, traxxas has their fair share of vehicles, but for the price, any of the 3-4 s arrma trucks take the cake. wish i had gone with a big rock instrea dof a senton first but hey - you live and you learn, side note - have you thiught of oickinguo the team associated pro4 10 st? they are a bit less of a basher, but, with 3 differentials, and the little things like the mesh underbody oritectir, headkiugHts/tail lights, better looking body that doesnt arachute, relistic bumpers with mudflaps, it seems like the next truck that illl be adding to the collection.
LVC happens when you run a battery with too low of a C rating, the vehicle draws too many amps for the battery to provide, so the ESC assumed the battery is at low voltage. All the budget batteries i own (Hoovo, Zeee, Ovonic) have actual C ratings that are are half of what is advertised, and my trucks do the whole LVC (low voltage cutoff) thing, sometimes within the first minute or two, with freshly charged cells. I'm not saying these are bad batteries, but the budget battery market is so cutthroat, in order to outsell their competitors, they artificially inflate the specs of their products. Sad but true. There IS a reason people pay twice as much for good batteries.
Need? Not really but that is just my opinion. Parts wear, metal parts are definitely just more aggressive but not always the best choice. In this particular case I don't know if you're talking about diff meaning front and rear differential If not if you're asking about the center diff or slipper a metal gear would be okay but you would have to definitely upgrade the motor mount plate because what is more forgiving in this case is that plastic spur on the slipper if that's where you're going.
I kind of know what you're saying but my motor plate bends right at the motor screws and I even backed it up with washers The plate is just too thin and at this point the metal is too fatigued
Sounding very ruff in eñññn, usual lack of charged batteries, luckily ya brought the right radio/transmitter, and of course how would it be complete w/o at least one janky tech surprise early on when you start driving, followed by alot of thinking out loud possibilities of what might be causing your issue that day..î Lol, ok.. not too much changed around here i see. It is good to see the V3 Big Rock back for some good bashing tho. M
why not just toss on the M2c mount and be done with it? i mean you already have it save the money. personally i been thiking about doing the center diff conversion on mine. not that it really needs it i been running it so long i just want to see if i make it even more fun to drive
Only because not everybody has the pocket change and I feel like I really want to test out that Arrma factory mount first to see if Arrma really did square away the issue for this particular truck.
You can lock the slipper , “ make a spool but like you said more strain on F/R diffs , but speed running wouldn’t matter . He can be upgrading the diffs to metal so he can spool the slipper , or he can just be adding the new metal center diff for these cars that comes with the 4s line , funny thing is I recently rebuilt my granite , deleted this brcc for parts and now I keep popping the axle I never had this problem ohhhh I know why because used the front diff from the brcc and it probably has thicker diff fluid , I’m take that little guy for rip today , I’m on east coast too windy 🌬️ cold 🥶
Guy your are cool 😎 on guy outside in cold 🥶 has fun guy garage on he job all right 👍 out running winter ❄️❄️❄️ in Memphis it is like hell 🥶❄️🤷☃️in Memphis 🤬🤔🤣
That Jaguar looks nice but they, like Land Rovers, are reliability dumps and money pits. My god-parents have both a ‘74 XJ and XKE convertible (still less than 20k miles). The XKE has been sitting for decades. 😮
I got to tell you I must have the unicorn of the JAG-WIRE This one is a 2000 VP/SC and everyday I put the key in the ignition it starts and at 116,000 I think it's time to change the serpentine belt for sure and probably a couple of pulleys 🤣😂
@@gaffle-411 I'm not sure if you know the history of this particular car It's kind of part of my channel in a way. It is called JAG-WIRE for a reason. The vehicle cost $275 to the owner $300 in parts, labor was free cuz it was me and my son doing some diag and the tow to my home was a $100 . That's not too bad for a vehicle where only 788 were made. Oh believe me I'm very well aware of Jaguar I've had some experience with them and repair. My mother at one point owned seven of them at once 🤣😂🤣😂
That car was basically FREE. Thumbs up for that. I like yours and the older styles. Classic designs with British styling written all over them. Electrical issue abound though... big time!@@rcguygarage
Longer wheel base Senton or Big Rock would be my pick. Senton body will fill up with dirt and parachute in the wind, big rock not so much dirt inside and zero parachute effect in the wind. Granite is crazy wheelie machine because of shorter chassis and big wheels and is more suited to the skate park out of the three you mention.
This is a good one All three of those platforms are great. If you feel like you want to do more tricks go for the granite if you feel like you want to have better control on jumps pick the big rock If you want an overall ground vehicle choose the senton. All three will do jumps and handle the ground very well but each one has its specific usage. I will say the body of the senton will do a lot with protecting your suspension during a crash or tumble cartwheel type of deal. Strategically placed pipe foam on the senton also help keep the body relatively more intact
Always wanted a "real" Rc car when I was a kid I finally got one last month and it was the big rock I’m still In love with the thing but unfortunately I’m so devastated to say that someone came up behind me and sucker punched me in the face then took off with my big rock. Y’all stay safe and watch your back never trust nobody random.
Big rock was Rocketing Guy.Good to see it back.Heres some Daisey and Co Treats dollar.Looks as cold in New England as it is in Old England.✌️

Well said
That was a sick front flip you did at 8:10. Mint
Great to see the Big Rock blasting again 🚀
My favorite quote by you guy is " the big rock doesn't care nothing about nothing " I love my big rock too! It's awesome 👌.
😂🤣👍💯 it's a true statement to an extent
I could do with a metal rear diff as I’ve stripped three or four and the little pivot balls. Smiles for miles.
That truck is truly a mint guy and never will get old I truly 3s line up is truly mint, thanks again brother for another fun awesome video.
Great rip brother! Makes me want to take my big rock out 😂 Going to rip it tomorrow after the snow and the Xmaxx probably
full triggah!!! 🦾upvoted!!!

Hello guy all the way from Scotland.. where the real bad weather is 😂
Got to say it is still cool to know even WAY OVER THERE in SCOTCH-LAND that you can see the videos👍💯
Awesome stuff bro. I love it when you say “ full trigga “ . Love your channel, keep em coming
👍💯🙏

I think about the MT-10 every once in a while I think that's the one you talking about
We need to set up a New England RC bashing day. Once the weather warms up ...
had that thing rippin!! good stuff dude!!
Wear a seatbelt saves lifes
my original BR is wore out. thinking about getting another , good truck
Nice 2S is for the beginner rc guy not the toggle switch guy like you 💪
🤣😂👍💯
@@rcguygarage I thought so.. Adds an extra 100$ to the cost..
Idk about that one guy, arrma rtr,or the m2c motor mount. Again just my opinion but I would go with the m2c. Come on guy "it's a big rock "😂😂😂😂
I do want to see if Arrma took care of it first👍💯
Great video Guy glad you got it running again and YES 2S is GARBAGE !!🤣🤣🤣🤣
You can do 100mph on 2S if you know what you're doing, just sayin' ..it's not enough to push the Big Rock though
Right , same with guys going right to 8s with 6s vehicles, just throwing money and extra weight because they don’t know what they’re doing

Straighten the plate n get 3 longer screws to all the way through n out nuts on then it won't bend screws can't back out

I have the arrma bigrock 3s and I keep breaking differentials

I have parts coming 2maro for my big rock metal diffs slipper delete 💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Why delete the slipper? It's the only thing saving shafts and gears

Such a beautiful older car, you should take better care of that interior, cant believe you put stuff on you leather.
