  • Until now, I've never actually discussed how I create and use busses on this channel! I show them all the time in my mixing and workflow videos, and I've received many questions about how they work. So FINALLY, here's everything you need to know about the incredible power and flexibility of buss channels, including a bonus lesson on how to create and manage them in Pro Tools.

Duuude, thank you for spelling buss correctly. Bussing is a lifesaver. I just thought everyone used them. I like the slick video production since you have been back. On the other hand, I miss the longer, in-depth videos where it felt like you were talking to me and we were hangin' out, but I get it. I am probably in the minority. Great stuff, thanks.
I listen to the Reminiscent Podcast, and I have a feeling you have a separate buss just for your laugh. By the way, I totally dig the intro and outro music. When are you going to release that? You were like 17, right?

      Thanks for all the input!
I think the channel will be back to normal for now on. Just had to do some promo stuff for the course! Did this video seem different than my older ones? I feel like I’m being the same, but it’s also been a few years!
And I usually just clip gained my laughs down like 6db because they would crush everything in its path haha. Glad you liked the show!
A super old mix of the song was released on a SoundCloud somewhere, but I never did a complete mix of the version that was put in the intro/outro. I’d really like to some day though! I still love that song.

@@CleanCutAudio Geez, I hope it did not come off as I was baggin' on you. I LOVE everything you do. I have the advanced EQ course, and reference it all the time when I am mixing. I also signed up at Domestika for your training course and really liking it. I will be contributing to the community soon. I even have a "Real Audio Has Curves" T-shirt. You keep promoting!!! You deserve it.
I find it perplexing why you only have less than 3K subscribers while I see random podcast morons who know nothing about audio have 23K subscribers. Saw one moron tell people to bring down the master fader to prevent clipping.

Oh no, I didn’t take it like that at all! But I am trying to be extremely conscious of maintaining whatever it is people enjoy about this channel while I also try to grow it a little bit.
I will never resort to the kind of stuff that seems to be most popular “The BEST podcasting microphone for ONLY $20?!?!?!?” kinda stuff, but the stuff I talk about on this channel is really not SEO friendly, or friendly to a broader market which is, absolute beginners. So it’s a fine line I’m trying to walk, and only because these videos do end up taking around 10 hours, and the ROI just isn’t there when there are only 350 views on a video (purely financially speaking. I do really enjoy making the videos and chatting with folks like you in the comments)!
Basically I’m trying to figure it out as I go and will experiment with new things over time.
Please keep me in check if you ever feel I’m losing what you love about the videos.
Thank you for the continued support. And with the deep cut merch! I don’t even have one of those shirts haha. I’ll have to pick one up soon.
