Is there a reason you didnt criss cross your straps? Normally strap attached to front of bed hooks to back of spreader and rear of bed to front of spreader. I can’t tell if your straps are angled in a v or not which would be much better than straight down from spreader to hole on bed. Crossing straps really helps with securing the spreader with minimal movement while plowing and in transit.
I live in the south so we don’t get snow but I’m just curious how much do you charge to do a parking lot like this? I bet your truck gets rusted pretty quickly😞
100% need too put a board crossing at the base where the pintle chain rides. You already underbuilt the spacer with only 2x4. Get some PT and go 2x8. Those little 2x4 stubs aren't holding anything if things go south, not to mention they way it's built the spacer or the hopper can shift and the stubs would no longer be aligned with the pintle chain base thing.(metal part)
I have this same tornado. And I have a du code that I can't seem to narrow down. I'm assuming that maybe it's the connection for the chute, but I'm curious dude, have you had any chute codes or any other various codes popping up on your controller? My spreader is only 2 years old
@Nate’s Place from one nate to another, thanks big guy! I'm up at my shop now I was honestly almost sure it was the pin connection for spreader because if I play around with it I can get the code to disappear for a moment or 2. I appreciate ya man

That’s the dump mode code. Make sure your small pin connection is secured to the rear control and that no buttons are sticking
