Bless your heart for finding out the scoop on our older gorilla, Nene. I’m sure you made a lot of people happy today offering these tidbits of information. She’s still her sweet self. Thank you. 🙏🏼
Thank you JZ for the beautiful updates from the keeper. Nene appetite is great and she even let him come into her room to clean while she’s still in there. She’s so sweet and a beautiful queen that she is. So Shabani is very jealous of Ai and Annie playing. He wants to join in on the playtime. 😊🥰❤️❤️
Glad to see them eating well and enjoying their meals really enjoyed and appreciate the vidoes please keep them coming appreciate you guys thanks as always excellent outstanding brilliant they have feelings and emotions and there moments like anyone else right they make good parents and grandparents and uncles and aunties and stepparents and brothers and sisters they are very smart and intelligent animals always learning something new each day from the gorillas they make better parents and friends than most people out there much love and respect to the gorillas instead great dance moves can I get some tips from him very impressed stay safe and warm out there stay strong and healthy as well !!!! Joe
Should be easier when you realize Shabani is a gorilla not human and he is behaving exactly as a Silverback does. He didn’t ask to be in an environment where nature cannot play out. In the wild Kiyo would leave on his own to work towards acquiring his own females or he would be driven out of the troop by Shabani the Silverback and leader.
Any updates on Nene? I love the videos where they are happy and playful! They love spinning around. I wonder why Shabani and Annie seem to enjoy shaking their head around so much? Between that and the spinning I assume they like the feeling of being light-headed or dizzy.
The Shabani family has been telling us daily that Nene's health hasn't visually degraded. It seems a regular pattern now for them to visit with her for about an hour after breakfast (mostly the 'adults', with the 'kids' checking in and out). They're playing and have adapted to a new routine. I believe - by seeing wild footage - that they would be with Nene a lot more if she was very ill/dying. Certainly we'd be observing very different "vibes", like how they behaved right after the September incidence and while keepers were finding the best arrangement. We'll likely never know gorillas' actual thoughts about death, but they do recognise the _transition_ from life to death. We'd have seen very different behaviour if Nene was too ill to interact with them. Please understand this is not anthropomorphism, it's recognising gorilla behaviour within this family/situation.
Love to watch Shabani spin! Always makes me smile 😊

Why won’t they let her come up? Is it that shes to frail to be around the other gorilla?
@ Yes. I think so. I think she’s enjoying having all the food to herself.
She can still.see the other but not be hurt by them where she is much more frail than the others
So is she mobile at all? Is that why the zoo keeper can go inside with Nene there as well?
thank you for this update 🙂

Thanks for the update on Nene and happy she's doing well ❤.
As for her son, he looks very lonely thanks to that father of his....
He's hard to like.

Shabani has been under a lot of stress over Nene. He is starting to come back. Kyomasa has to learn to handle it. Shabani will play with him again ❤
@@lilylexie5105 ..well duh!
Of course his not human... never said he was..the stupidity!.
クルクルクルクルぐにゃんって、ガラスにこぶが😂
みて!こんなにパパお茶目だよ!って言いたかったのかな。
アニーちゃんと追いかけっこしたら、シャバーニデレデレでしょうね😌
It's not Shabani group. It's Nene group. Her husband, her daughters and her son.
Грозный, грузный - и как шаловливое дитя. Это я о Шабани. Настроение, видимо, выше крыши.
Are they trying to come up with something for Kiyo so he won’t be by himself all the time?
Kiyo Don’t Forget Nothing He Remembers Annie Showing Off For Shabani 🦍 The Other Day 🤣
