Such a nostalgic game,used to play it in primary school,and so many years have already passed that I didn't even notice. My Nintendo's still working,it's somewhere in my house and I have a hope that I'll get an opportunity to play this wonderful game again
Unlike other Luigi’s Mansion games this one focuses primarily on story and plot where as others focus on gameplay. I suppose it is one of the things that made this game so great. I hope they do something like this for Luigi’s Mansion 4.
Tbh the game could greatly benefit by removing the mission format like 3 did, that's easily what makes this the weakest of the three, many intermissions would be better off just being E. Gadd talking through the Dual Scream instead of forcing Luigi back to the lab, and then back to the map, the locations hardly change between missions to justify you having to leave and reenter, some missions require you to backtrack several times for no reason other than artifically extend the runtime, which sucks because the locations are pretty cool and well designed for the most part, but it's hard to enjoy them when the game forcefully stops you each time you reach a specific point

My older brother got this for his 3DS when I was in elementary school. After he was finished, I kept playing it for over a year (hadn't even played the original). The nostalgia I feel from this just makes me feel like I'm 6 years old again.

I like how when Luigi is in the elevator the Mario Strikers Charged pause menu/credits theme plays. Because Next Level Games makes their games over the top. After all, they made Punch Out Wii’s boxers even more entertaining than their NES (SNES in the case of Bear Hugger and Aran Ryan) counterparts. And because Next Level Games is a Canadian company, the NTSC version of Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon is the original version because the game was made in Canada and not Japan like most other Nintendo games

I remember back when I was in second grade my birthday was coming up. My family wasn't the most wealthy family in the world, but rent and utilities really killed my parents in terms of money. For my 7th birthday, my parents bought me the brand new 3ds XL and a copy of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. Something about playing this game was such a magical experience. I say this for a lot of games, but I would really love to play this game for the first time again because of how close it is to me. Since then, I've switched to the New 3ds XL, however I still have the first save file from the first time I played this game to this day. I can't wait to play this on the Switch later this year.
