Looking sharp Scott! Factual information. Unfortunately, so much fear-mongering is going for clicks that it might turn into a echo-chamber of doom at one point.
Hey Scott Thank You for the information. So I've been studying Front-end basic languages for the past 4 months HTML, CSS and and I'm learning JavaScript now. I've been building small projects by my own and in the process learning how to use Git. But now that I'm getting the basics down everything gets crazy because there's so much content and paths and more courses and more information. And I know as everything Web Development is a non-stop learning process but at the moment I feel lost on what my next steps should be. Can you make a video of the different paths and what would you recommend as a self-thought developer to get that dream job.
YO!!!!!!!! Congrats on your journey and great job. Ya this is super common and no stress. Theres so much content on how to learn each piece but not how they fit together. 1. Yes i will make this video for you. 2. The answer is pretty straight forward in concept but hard in practice. I would honestly start contributing to open source NOW to fill the gaps and to get mentorship from other devs. Read through these: gitlab.com/gitlab-org/gitlab/-/issues/?sort=created_date&state=opened&label_name%5B%5D=frontend&first_page_size=20 about.gitlab.com/community/contribute/ You can become apart of the devleloper team by doing work for free. No for a little bit more philosophy. Theres going to come a time where you feel good. Youll need to start interviewing and applying which is its own skill, so try networking and meeting people and asking how to get frontend internships. Remember to focus on frontend when interviewing. Dont go too general like full stack. Email me with any more questions. I gotchu. Email is in the bio under about. Reply if you cant find it

Appreciate you. Anything I can help you with?
