    Luna is gorgeous! I would be so disappointed if she doesn't appear on your videos Ali... My 3yr old Springer Spaniel Barney is very boisterous and full of life and is the most expensive thing I own but he is absolutely invaluable to me. He is so loving and affectionate and has a wisdom far beyond his years so is the best companion I could wish for. My lovely brother William takes him to his place in the countryside where he has acres to exercise and undertakes a lot of the responsiblity for caring for him. I get to spoil and cuddle him.... I think we are both spoiled!! We did have a beautiful black cat called Velvet who died in 2019 at the age of 23! Would you consider making some cooking videos of everyday things for those of us that were taught to cook when meals were meat and two veg.... I'm way out of date but would like to try curry or chilli or....? Can you make sourdough bread? I loved your demo of the veggie sauce, especially as we are lifelong organic gardeners and usually have plentiful supply of veggies. Give Luna a hug from me and Barney! ❤❤

    New subscriber here. Luna is adorable and funny. We had a dog that had a giardia infestation, nasty little beasts almost killed him. He lost half his body weight and the drugs weren't working. As a last ditch effort our vet said to try raw feeding and give a really big dose of wormer to see if it would kill them. It took a while but thankfully he started to get better. This is only my third video with you, I instantly liked you, I like that you don't waste anything. Looking forward to future videos and Luna stories in the future. Don't worry only 8 more years and she should start settling down 😂❤

      I'd never even heard of it in all my dog owning years. Yep, took months to get rid it where she wasn't allowed out, or to mix with my other dog at the time and her vaccinations were delayed. Looking forward to her settling down in a decade!!! 🙂

    We had a Yellow Lab, the English version with the large blocky head. She had both knees done: One at age one and again at age two. One was done with old technology while the other was the newest, at the time. So expensive, at the time, twenty years ago. We just lost a mixed breed in July but we still have a chihuahua to keep us company. Dogs are the best!

      I lost my old girl Emma (a black Lab) earlier this year. She had arthritis in her hips and was on a lot of pain meds. I did consider getting a smaller dog like a chihuahua but I didn't know much about them. So went for another Lab instead! 🙂

    Insurance companies are such villains! My friend's house flooded and it took them 9 months, an appeal against the insurance company's decision to only pay them a tiny amount, and a threat to go to the Ombudsman before they finally coughed up the full amount of money! Now the company have raised their premiums ( what you pay each month for non-UK folks) by twice the original!!!
    I didn't know that about doggie insurance, having always had rescue dogs. I will be getting another one soon and will carefully read insurance documents! Luna is just beautiful- stunning coat! Bless her, she landed on her 4 paws with you!!

    Hello Ali ☺. What would we do without our fur babies. I have two kits Tally 🐺 and Luna 🐱. They are both 12 years old and brother and sister. There was another brother, Willow, but sadly we lost him when he was just two years old). My kits currently giving me a reason to get up each morning, bless them. I lost my beloved husband Terry back in December 2023 after a short illness, too soon and too quick. We were together 54 years (babes when we wed in 1970). I am alone now and I miss him every day. I will keep watching with interest and picking up tips. Take care. Sending love, light and blessings 🌻🐝🌹🐞 xx

    New subscriber here, I’m looking forward to catching up with you and Luna! My two miniature Pomeranians are turning 8 this year and beginning to need the Vet. I’m not brassic but I watch the pennies so a £1000 bill to have a few teeth extracted was a blow 😮 I Love my boys to bits so I go without things for myself instead. • @sierra60

      I adopted a mini cavapoo and was shocked how much it costs to keep her. She was born without a tail so knew about anal gland issues but not her malformed spine. She was coming upto 2 and a more serious problem was manifesting...syringomyelia. She takes 2 gabapentin daily and I can't buy these online...£34 p/m. She has allergies so takes apoquel £64 p/m so managed to get a 6month prescription to save me money. I claimed for some xrays of her spine and for a day case stay when the flea tablet made her really ill and she ended up on a drip all day. This was within the first 2 months. Her insurance went up £80 from last year too. The vets are ripping us pet owners off bigtime. Most are not independantly owned. My girl has separation anxiety too. On the plus side she is just the most affectionate little pooch I have ever known and I wouldn't be without her😊

    Dog treats are quite expensive, you can make healthy ones by frying beef or chicken livers, slice thinly and put on a tray in the fridge for a few days to dry out.My dog loves them.

    She is beautiful! Big hello to Luna from my two little shih tzus, Tiffany and Evie. I had a lovely black lab years ago. He was a gem too. My mum and dad had dogs and cats before I was born so I’ve never known life without a pet. But alone now and I wonder come the time, would it be right to have any more in case something happened to me or I was ill and have nobody to care for them. Vets bills are so high now, grooming too for those dogs that have to have this done.somsorry to hear of Lunas health problem as a baby and hoping that she will now have a healthy long life without antics and accidents!

    Hi to Luna! Our lab is 17mths old & is a real handful. He's being neutered next month. He's been quite healthy since we've had him at age 8wks, but I've had quite a few injuries from him - broken toe, sprained wrist, pulled over many times - to name a few. He's just so strong!! Him and Luna would get on great guns by the sound of it.

    • @aliliveswellonless
      @aliliveswellonless  Месяц назад

      Yep she is so strong she can pull me off my feet! I've had a few falls with her, one where I fractured my wrist!! She's now 30kg and solid muscle. Plus she gets distracted by everything when we're out a walk!!! She was neutered 3 weeks ago but isn't showing any signs of calming down yet! 🙂
