watching this takes me back to being a kid watching BJ and the bear, smokey and the bandit and just wanting to be a trucker. I drove for 9 years before having a stroke and having to hang up my lanyard but if I ever won the lottery I would definitely have to buy an 80s rig and restore it
Good evening sir, these American trucks are the best, they are fantastic machines and in my opinion they are jewels on wheels !!! ... Congrats fantastic channel
This particular video kinda reminds me of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade every year down in NYC, but honestly, Chris, you and your team do a MUCH better job of filming than all the crews down there do BY FAR!
Fuzzy Butkus it all depends on every individuals taste, I learned to drive on a cabover back when i was 15yrs old, I'm 32 now and I love every mile I drive on that freightliner cabover....of course i swapped out the seat....
Should see the one they have sitting on their display on I40 here in Greensboro,NC... That thing turns my head everytime I pass it. Matter fact, gonna get breakfest now and see if i can walk up to check it out! It's as sexy as a pete........
Cool as ....Where is this?I'm in the cold and rainy u.k.I'm desperate to get out to the states to see some of your cool trucks.you took over a whole town that would never happen here.loved that blue and white cabover near the end.Great work.Wish I was there
This sort of thing would never happen here in the UK and even if by some miracle it did our trucks over here are mostly not very interesting whereas in the US every truck for the most part seem to always have an amazing paint job and is always polished and covered in LEDs and just over all clean looking.
TheDestroyer32 that's because here in the US people take a lot of pride in what they drive....most all these trucks are used every day....the lights are so people in regular car's can see them coming and get out of the way....some people in regular car's have no respect for trucks....many accidents happen because of it....
Most of these would be owner drivers or (very) small fleets deliberately trying to stand out from the crowd. Larger fleet operators generally don't care that much what the trucks look like as long as they're on the road making money for them.
Why are the American trucks so long? Here in the UK you would be lucky if you had more the 2ft between the back of the cab and front of the trailer when hooked.

Just trying to see if it's one of those things worth the cost of schooling and etc

The only real truck there was Spooner's Pete.
а где камазы?
How many truckers clocked on duty time for this? haha
The horn thing always turns into an epidemic at these shows, I'm a truck mechanic & enthusiast & I had to mute it.
NZ Salt Flats Racer is it worth it going into big rig mechanics?? Really want to buy sometimes I pick expensive hobbies
I make a good living repairing them.
NZ Salt Flats Racer like is it something I can make maybe 100k a year at? Or find something else haha.
It's not a money tree dude! No mater what you do, you have to be good at it to make good money.
