You really didn't have to apologize for drawing the mayo squeezing scene, sensei! That's what makes the story and the illustration legendary! And i'm really grateful that Ito sensei's manga have been gaining a newfound international exposure for the past 10 years-ish, even more so for the past 5 years-ish through social media snippets/memes... i remember back in the early 2000s when i was around 8 years old, my older sister brought home a 3 part Uzumaki comic books (Indonesian edition), i got around reading it, being creeped out at first, but as i got older i learned to appreciate Ito sensei's story-telling and illustration. He really is the best horror mangaka atm. Now those Uzumaki comic books are all yellow on the pages but none is ripped/heavily stained. I've been collecting Ito sensei's comics both the Indonesian edition and the Viz edition for the past 5 years. You deserve all the fame and recognition you've been getting internationally, sensei!
Can you have Junji Ito on to react to some analog horror short films? I think it would be so interesting to see his perspective on it. Stuff like the Mandela Catalog, the Oldest View, Local 58, the Monument Mythos etc.? Oh lordy lord, that'd be some dynamite content
