You can tell based on the bits and pieces of the story we got so far. Although some are quite tricky to tell because of the small differences between the 2 answers. Kafka's tone also gives you a hint. She's speaking in a more relaxed/confident tone when she's telling the truth (or in the English VO that is, it was hard for me to tell in the Japanese VO).
if you did yangqing's companion quest you know that it was jingliu who was the swordchampion and has a connection to blade. also dan hang was the high lord so that rules out him being blade's apprentice. imo the lies about blade are the easiest to sus out using the details currently in the game
