Just left. I showed the girl at the front desk (Carolina) this video. She had no clue this video exists, but she really loved it. And yeah, watching the sunset from the infinity pool really is the best idea. This truly felt like the best hotel for a romantic getaway (and she wants to come back another time) and the green room will always have a special place in my heart.
Hey Aly! I came across your page looking for ideas and places to stay for Cabo and you completely inspired my trip to Puerto Vallarta! We booked at the Rivera del rio and can’t wait! thanks for the amazing tips and suggested day trips you made us super thrilled for our upcoming vacation ❤
Agreed…it is a great part of town. Tip: keep shades in your bathroom shower closed at night. If you can see the neighbors/neighborhood, they can see you. 😉
I was looking at all inclusives. I was getting bored. Then I happened to stumble upon this video and was like...this is it! I don't have to do any more searching. This is the place! I saw that there was only 1 room available for the dates I wanted, so I immediately grabbed the green room. All resorts are the same after a while. This one looks truly unique.
Hi Rachel, I've got a video abut flying with your dog in the cabin: ruclips.net/video/7jCzsAQ2IM4/видео.html - but we didn't fly into Mexico, just Canada to USA. I do have this video about traveling in Scottsdale, AZ with a dog: ruclips.net/video/HALmKo4avQ0/видео.html - is there anything specific you're looking for that I could cover in another video? Always looking for excuses to travel with my pup ;)
Beautiful video and amazing hotel. Tell me, are all the rooms in the new tower the same size? About how Large? And do they all have a balcony and large glassed bathroom? Thanks so much for your help!
The rooms in the newer tower are roughly the same size, I believe just under 400 sq feet. Some are a little smaller, and there is a new penthouse sweet that's bigger. They all have balconies with fantastic views. And yes, they all have brand new large showers, they're all slightly different but very similar if that makes sense. In the new tower, I don't think you can make a bad choice, they're all gorgeous
Hey what is the beach like that is walkable to the hotel? Is there loungers / chairs for rent or a beach club? What about recommendations for restaurants in the area. Never been to PV and we want not to stay at a resort. Great video!
Yes and yes! The beach is olas atlas and plenty of beach clubs and restos with loungers. Sea Monkey is a popular one and if you walk straight to the beach from hotel you'll end up there. As for restaurants, there are TONS within only a few blocks. Too many good ones to name, so I suggest starting with a couple of my blog posts that list some of my faves: likewhereyouregoing.com/best-breakfasts-in-puerto-vallarta/ and likewhereyouregoing.com/best-tacos-in-puerto-vallarta/
Hey. Nice video. We are going to stay there in July. Also, how can we get a cell phone chip or internet in our phones so we don't have to pay roaming fees in Puerto Vallarta?
You can buy them in advance of your flight from Amazon, but the cheapest way is to buy them at an OXXO. They will activate it for you right there and you're done, then you can just reload the SIM before your next trip, swap them over in the plane and you're good to go as soon as you land.
I walk by this hotel almost every morning when I'm in PV and now I got to see into it (beyond the lobby). Thank you.

Thanks for watching! What a beautiful area you live in :)
Watching this while staying at this hotel (Rasputin room). Lovely and unique property. Close enough to the action but far enough to be quiet.

Great video! Do you have any tips on traveling with a small dog, i.e. flying, hotels, etc.?

Hola , we just returned from beautiful Puerto Vallarta, stayed at Garza Blanca, curious of your room recommendation at this hotel Aly ?! 👍🥂
I haven't stayed there yet, but I've heard great things about Garza Blanca
Cost please
What is the name of this hotel??
Think we stopped in several years ago, looks familiar.
Definitely want to stay here!!
Rivera del Rio Boutique Hotel: bit.ly/3sJtedZ
How steep is the walk to the beach?
Hi Aleeca, from this hotel there is very little elevation to/from the beach
Is this hotel Baby friendly? Looking into hotels to travel to in July. I'll be 24 weeks pregnant and will have my 16 month old with me.
Considering going as a single male. I know you said it's great for couples, but would you recommend a similar hotel for singles? Thanks
We ran into a few singles who were staying here at the same time as us, but I would also recommend Casa Maria
@@alysmalls Thanks so much!! I'm really glad I subscribed. You do an awesome job!

@@alysmalls thanks. I was watching RUclips video about e-sim cards for Mexico. I'm just not sure if they work well in Puerto Vallarta.
Your so beautiful 😍
Its beautiful but ill pass. I love luxury. Will stick to Secrets😍
Will be staying away from any hotel advertised as Gay friendly.
LoL.
