Asheville East KOA Review - Sierra Nevada Taproom - The Antique Tobacco Barn, Asheville, NC

The nice thing about a KOA is that you can usually expect about the same at each location. Asheville East KOA is actually located in Swannanoa, NC. About a 10 minute drive to the great little town of Black Mountain and about a 25 minute drive to Asheville. There is so much to do and see in this area. The fall colors are amazing. You can visit the largest private home in the USA, the Biltmore or you can take a hike through 100's of miles or trails. Do some tubing down a river or white water rafting if you want to be on the water. We decided to visit Sierra Nevada Taproom which is their east coast brewery and it is well worth a visit. Madi got herself a sign from the Antique Tobacco Barn, which is 70,000 square feet of collectables, antiques and just about anything else you could think of. From 100 year old tricycles to stained glass doors and custom made furniture, made from recycled industrial history. Downtown Asheville is one of the most unique cities you will find. We will be back!
