Viper4Android used to be a requirement for all my devices. I haven't rooted for ages though and since I changed to my own music and Bluetooth buds with a dedicated eq app I forgot viper. Watching videos about this is nostalgic for me. 😂
Viper4android is superior to EQ apps. The real viper4android that is 2.3.4 with the super quality driver. The new reverse engineered socks doesn't have headphones surround sound and gain. The surround sound is what makes viper awesome. I still have it on Android 14 Poco f3 and f4. It takes a certain setup. James DSP, permissive selinux, audio modification library, kitsune magisk 26.4 and then finally viper4android 2.3.4 zip. Problem is everyone spends the entire day trying to get around safety net. They won't do selinux permissive because they actually believe google. Now there's kernel SU.

Not really understanding update Google app? But with a little time and effort it's best to compile all your apps at the same time, done the time comes to update do the same thing compile all your apps with the updates. The first step is be picky when choosing the rom, where did it come from ? Honestly the best thing to do is start with a good device for me the best for the cheapest money and the easiest to unlock & open the bootloader for me it's Motorola only because if you mess things up you have RSA it's a program for Motorola it stands for rescue smart assistant

You didn't install gapps with the rom. You have to install rom and the gapps without rebooting your device
