I mean he literally got off the plane yesterday morning, went to training, subbed into the game, and instantly became the greatest performance of an MLS player of all time.
Think about the injury he had. He literally had a what most people would call a "career ending injury" ripping his knee ligament to shreds at a age of 36. Training hard, signs for LA Galaxy, jet lagged, havn't played for a year, subbed in 70th minute, 6 minutes later bang it in from 45 yards making possibly the goal of the year. then finish it off with the game winning goal in the 90th minute. I mean this is hollywood story stuff. It's like it's scripted or something. Infuckingcredible! Only Zlatan! As Ola Kamara said. "Tonight we saw Zlatan doing Zlatan things."

This game had absolutely everything.
-It was a historical match because it was the first ever LAG vs LAFC.
-It was Zlatan's debut in MLS.
-The match scenario is one of the most amazing of all time (0-3 to 4-3, in the final minutes.
-One of the best goals of the year was scored.
What else do you need? This was just the perfect game!

I'm a D.C. United fan - which means seldom is the occasion I have anything to cheer about - so I never like to see the Galaxy win or do well, but this was one of the most entertaining and exciting games I've ever seen in Major League Soccer. Games like this elevate the league, and that's good for everybody.
Chris Pontius, who could never stay healthy when he was with the Black and Red, is now a star with our arch-rivals. I think the sports gods just hate this city, because *all* of our teams are bad.

The moment this game changed for good was when the LAFC fans began the "Ole" chant. The soccer gods did not take kindly to such hubris. The Galaxy players came alive, and once Zlatan came on, you got the sense the game was gonna go to another level.
I can’t stop watching this. Years later & I’m still baffled at what had happened. INSANE. We will never have something like this happen in MLS.

Don’t sleep on MLS. This league is exciting and full of surprises and being unpredictable unlike the major leagues in Europe. Proud how far MLS has come and proud to support my local professional soccer team. Give it a chance if you haven’t, and support your local MLS team.
About six years ago I was one of those that used to hate on league. But after watching games and when we got a team in Orlando I started liking it even more. I am proud of what the league has become now.
The MLS is so cool. Of course, the richest leagues are in Europe, but MLS not only has plenty of young talents but also several international stars. To me, MLS and Liga Mex are the most excinting leagues outside Europe
tomuscranius I disagree. The United States is way too big for PRO/REG. On the long run, hypothetically, there would be too much teams in one area and less in the other. For example, what if Seattle, Minnesota gets relegated, and Phoenix, and San Antonio gets promoted? There would be less teams in the North and more in the South. I think MLS is good how it is, with its playoffs, that are always entertaining, and keep it like American sports style
tomuscranius Europe, South America, and Africa use promotion relegation but a number of countries in Asia and Oceania use a closed league system like the US

Strong, quick, his finishing was top.. Hos confident is out of this world.. So many good players.. But zlatan has his own class.. I grow up as football fans.. And.. I am a liverpool fans.. It was so excited when we play against him when he was in united team.. So many people said that he is not gonna make it in english premier league.. But me.. I saw it differently.. Because i know how zlatan.. He is specials... To MLS fans.. U are lucky because one of the greatest player came to your league and showed his class.. Many young players and kids will learn and follow what he is doing.. And it is good for your development of this sport... So.. Freaking lucky.. Enjoy the moments to u guys.. Usually It isn't easy to score a goal in soccer, that's why some people say soccer is boring. But this is not a racing of goal scoring like basketball. And good thing you rejoice so much when your team score a goal. If you know soccer very well, you never be happy about a game with so many goals. Becouse you think that defending is very bad and you never like it. And how can soccer be "boring"? Hey MLS!... I ask you the same question?
