- Oregon cranberry farmers call the state's south coast the "Napa Valley" of U.S. cranberry farming. Why? A longer growing season produces sweet berries.
But don't believe the myth that these ruby gems grow in watery bogs. Cranberry fields are flooded only two days a year to help the farmers get the berries off the vine at harvest time.

Mr.Vincent I helped him one time, long ago @ Staples in CB .He told me what / who he was and what he did . I helped the man out with shopping ,Maybe copy center ? I think my hair was a shade of Cranberry and we joked about that . Next time he came to town .He came to the store and came with berries !. Too bad only one farm is organic.
If they ever have a surplus market those in Idaho ! Maybe one day these growers will be part of the Greater Idaho Coalition ! 🤔
