As Retro goes from chill to annoyed to mad all in one song (Chill is in the pre-dialoge, Annoyed is when he says "Enough!" near the start of the song, and of course pissed off at the end). here is something cool. after you defeat ectospasm, there is gonna be a note at the end which you will have to click. if you hit it, then you will unlock a song in week 2. and if you beat the song, you will be able to change gf. you can choose either gf or sakuroma, which she is gonna be in week 2. she is the lust demon. so the characters are retrospecter- wrath sakuroma- lust izzurius- pride insatian- gluttony hivemind- greed atrocean- envy dozire- sloth and that's all the characters. another cool thing is that you can get different dioluage depending what character you are and what gf you have. its a cool gimick and i would say that retrospecter did a good job in this mod.
The intensity of this mod is so insane but I freaking love it, I'm glad that you've played this one! I dig everything about this one, the art and music was seriously so dope. I can't wait to see how part 2 is gonna be like. I have high hopes that it's gonna be worth the wait just like this one!

I love seeing people who have just followed retro due to fnf, people who have been following him for years and people who have no idea who he is all enjoy the mod! It's a nice feeling Also the retro in this mod isn't a self insert Retro is his persona but he is also a seperate charcater This mod really shows how inpatient Retro actually is He already goes crazy in song 2 his lines are straight to the point, he easely gets angry and his berserk form is actually his 4th form...nobody has ever seen the other 2 in-between because he is too inpatient and jumps straight to it lol
I finally found out that retrospecter was going Super Saiyan!!!! Also they made the cutscenes talk different when you add different characters. And it's funny, and creative
Hopefully you can make it, also, if you get the pink arrow at the end, and get it, YOU UNLOCK SOMETHING!!! which is the thing that retrospecter said when you first died, giving you a hint, and if you wanna do it, it's "Sakuroma" but I didn't do the mod, instead I saw other people playing it and happened the same, so it's Sakuroma, not "Sakuroma" anyways I hope this info helps you
I don't think anybody's talked about this, but in Spectral, Retrospecter apparently has four icons instead of the usual two you see in mods. The starting one, the losing one, then there's a winning one, and then there's one when you get down to 1hp.
You really need to try out the VS QT Mod I'm serious you gonna love the theme of that mod (there is are extra songs in freeplay after you finish the week) and yes you specifically gonna love this mod based on what this channel really likes hint hint. (i dont wanna spoil it)
The Skins actually change the Cutscenes and if you manage to beat Ectospasm you get ANOTHER FREEPLAY SONG (dont worry the other one is easier) which unlocks something else

there is one hidden song, you either get it by finishing ectoplasm and hitting the last note or entering a code on the story mode screen, also there is different dialogue depending on your character in story mode and the hidden song
Fun fact: There is 102 diolouge that isn't randomized for Retrospector Ectoplasm, and if you die 7 times he changes the difficulty to True Hell, which is worse than the normal Ectoplasm. A lot worse.
So Mairusu, y'know those blue notes you were avoiding in ectospasm? Yeeeaaaahh, you're, uh, gonna wanna hit those ones. They make the other notes a bit more visible temporarily each time you hit one.
If you’re wondering why Retro (the song) wasn’t just in the week, it was actually the original first song, but they ended up liking the new song Satisfracture more, but they wanted to keep the whole “ballistic after just one song” thing to keep in line with the whole wrath personality, so they just replaced it and stuck Retro into the free play songs. Makes sense, while Retro’s an absolute bop, it is a bit too chill for wrath.

Hey Mairusu, one small question. You've been making commentary videos for over 4 years. So I'm assuming you got used to commentating while playing games. But does it ever happen that when you play games in your own time, do you ever talk to yourself/commentate, even though you aren't recording?
Mairusu there is an actual reward but make sure you don't miss the note that unlocked it watch out for any Red note that looks like a heart symbol cause thats your reward if you don't click you have to go trough at it again and you have to press the Blue notes or else you can't see the Notes and if you beat Ectopasm and got the Note Reward have fun playing the secret song ;)
little tips i only beat the ectospasm with scroll speed 1.7, its better that u can see the note not too fast but be careful u will get a problem with poison note
