Missed out on Emirates Airbus... You gotta develop a competitor to the B797 and another competitor (apart from A350-1000) to the B777X. You need to stop with the A380's. It's coming to an end, same with the B747's.
No. The A330neo is a competitor to the B787 and A350. The A330-800 has only 257 seats while the B777-8 has 365 seats. The A330-900 has only 287 seats while the B777-9 has 414 seats. For the B797, it will be a new midsize aircraft but it will be an aircraft with similar range and capacities to the B757. The only other competitors are A321LR. A330's are not a viable competitor. Now, do your research and get out of here.

350 is a direct competitor to 777 now,they purchased 787s maybe for shorter or less popular routes so they won't have half filled planes( as for 380/777) which have huge capacity

The A350 is actually more reliable than the 787. The 787 had battery fires and issues when it entered issues. I feel disappointed that Emirates didn't choose it.

Like I said, I've flown both and they have the same 3-3-3 configuration for economy. Their services are also very similar and they are both beautiful, excellent aircraft. But from my experiences (I've flown the 789 twice and the 359 twice), I still prefer the B787 over the A350. Just to clarify, I love both Airbus and Boeing, in fact, in my upcoming trip, 9 out of 10 flights operate Airbus aircraft. Only one is Boeing. I still love Airbus and Boeing nonetheless.
The Middle Eastern airlines will always buy from both, it's politically smart and helps with leverage on price, when both manufactures know they could just make a call to the rival, if the price isn't right...

Emirates are missing out, they basically bought another less ideal and smaller B77W. The A350 has unmatched levels of comfort, not the B787
I've flown both and in my experiences, the B787-9 is better than the A350-900. However, both aircraft are excellent overall.

The Boeing 787 is the nastiest aircraft I've ridden on compared to the A350 and even the 777-300er
