This is what most vocalists hear when it comes to what they are to sing in a moment. However, with understanding the mandate of the Psalmists, as consecrated voice, You must be sensitive to the season to understand what to sing.
In this Episode, Psalmist Raine breaks down level of sensitivity that Psalmists must have to identify the season of their audience in accordance with the will of the Lord.

This has now become my prayer. God has been leading me with showing me words and scriptures in moments of spontaneous worship and we sing to an original song melody, but it becomes it’s own song. I don’t define myself as a psalmist, only as a worship leader but I believe God is taking me to this place of becoming a psalmist. So after listening to this, my prayers have changed. 🙌🏾

Me and my friend were just talking about this. I can’t even began to explain the frustration I as a psalmist being a worship leader and feeling trapped. The years of not feeling like no one understood and not having the language to express these very words. Now I’m seeing more people like myself. It’s been truly liberating and i thank God for that.

Does a psalmist have to know how to sing ? Or can they solely operate in their gifting by writing songs about what the Holy Spirit is ministering to them in that moment ?

Sorry to ask this basic question but in literal terms what exactly is a psalmist and the difference between a psalmist and worship leader? In literal terms not what was stated in the video. Sorry i need more break down cause i have moments like this and want to understand its differences
Episode 1 and the upcoming Episode will go more in depth with this question; but for quick reference a Psalmist is a writer and composer of sacred songs. Worship leaders are individuals who lead congregations into a spaces and moments of worship with God. Both voices should lead to encounters. However, the worship leader can be more generalized in gathering the focus and setting it on God, while as the Psalmists can administer a song that’s more specific to moments & seasons ultimately based on the heart of God.
