Mike, I saw this badass, jacked up Vette with a trailer hitch on the rear bumper drive by me going down Lighthouse Rd as I was leaving work the other day. I work for the Park Service here in Buxton and we honestly see all kinds of off-road vehicles visiting the Island and cruising the beaches down here from all over the world, but knowing you guys hang out down here on the regular I just knew that badass Vette had to be yours! Or maybe it was the Pa. plates that helped! 😁 Either way, that’s a hella sick build and it sounded amazing when I was following you down the road in my rusted out 2005 Chevy ‘Cat-eye’ Silverado!
TBH, at first glance I said to myself "Oh no, not another ridiculous 4wd 'Vette". However, the more I watched the more I saw the quality of the build and how it was well designed. It's got just the right lift and stance so it remains functional and well balanced. Cool purchase Mike!
love the song @ 5:36 cool build, I'd consider doing a mild lift on my C6 Z06 someday tbh - I love driving the car but it's quite annoying ground clearance/anxiety wise while driving, especially around cities with their awful road work and potholes.
As a long time rider of the Banks I know bout that sand. The key to riding in 2 wheel is air way down 1, keep good momentum 2, if u stop do it on hard pack 3, and the trick is timing. U have to go during or directly after a hard rain so the sand is compacted. Don't get to comfy tho, that sun pop out and dry that sand.... U'll have a hella time getting that vette back on hard ground. P.S. Don't do it alone, good luck, and I wish I was there to witness.

I think a lift kit is good cause you have ppl who may want a vett, but it's harder for some ppl to get in and out when they are at the stock low hight
