Yellapura is a beautiful place of Karnataka, India. It is a part of the great Western Ghats region as well as the Deccan plateau too. The forest region is very wild and dense over here. Long route buses from Mumbai to Mangalore ply through this amazing forest zone. Normally the buses crosses this area during night; however this time I had a lucky chance to catch this view as our bus got late near Pune. Yellapura is a naturally rich place and is located almost 540m above mean sea level. The forest zone over here is really fit rival to the Bandipur forest zone. Nowadays urbanisation is causing adverse affect to our nature. We must preserve our green patches of the mother earth, otherwise the global warming would be increasing in a greater extent.
