WW2 German Death Card

In this video, we take a look at the 2 panel death card of Josef Gamperl, an Obergefreiter in Kompany 10 of SS Polizei Schutze Regiment 3, part of the SS Polizei Division. He was killed by a gunshot to the back in the village of Smerdi during the fighting for the Luga Bridgehead. The SS Polizei Division would take extremely heavy casualties in the fighting there. #ww2 #militaria
