That looks was cooler and i bet the neck isn't sticky now. Epiphone glossed necks are usually tacky. the satin is nicer awesome. I have a hummingbird studio ebony burst myself. Its pretty good fit for me.
I never realized the stickiness that much until I painted this one, big difference. I keep my other j200 polished but the matte finish is way smoother. And it just looks even better in person.
No, sorry. I recently bought this one from Guitar Center. Loved the ebony burst, but the gloss finish showed everything. I used to custom airbrush and paint, mostly motorcycles, but if paint would stick to it, I would paint it. So far the Cerakote finish is holding up nicely and looks even better in person.
