This particular category and game is precisely what made me enjoy glitchless speedruns in the first place. Bewildabeasts commentary run for this game is what made me fall in love with it to begin with.

this was really fun to watch while playing pokemon and i learned so many cool tricks which i wanna use from now on
Fun fact: If you go into the Deku Palace at night you can see the Deku Guards’ lines of sight so it can be easier to avoid being caught!

I didn't bother to watch first cycle and skipped past it. This is why MM Speedruns are excellent on RUclips.

40:04 Also, fun fact, and something possibly relevant to the MM 100% speedrunning community, did you know that after finishing a temple, the game automatically assumes you've gotten the map and the compass if you reenter the temple after resetting time? Yeah, even if you didn't grab either of them. I did it myself during a short playthrough because I wanted to play through the game again, and I skipped all compasses and dungeon maps. But when I went back to Woodfall for gathering the frogs for Don Gero heart piece, I looked on the pause menu and saw that both the map and compass were in my possession despite having never collected them. I even tried it on other temples by going back to collect the maps and compasses, and all that was in the chests was blue rupees. Just a weird little fact I noticed, and could apply to 100% runs since that would technically mean that once you reset time, you automatically collect the maps and compasses from any of the temples you've cleared without having to go out of your way for them. Though I doubt that would probably be considered valid, given the restrictions on how items must be obtained in different categories, especially glitchless ones.

2:25:01 It blocks out B button on human. That's it. It does nothing else. Doesn't even work on FD, which makes sense since he is just another transformation (though you might think that since he has a B button sword, it might cancel his only attack method, but that isn't the case. Apparently he doesn’t give a shit if he's cursed, he'll just do whatever he wants).
4:10:25 Dwayne Johnson himself pops out of the screen and decks you. It's true. I've had it happen before.
5:30:17 There's a long list of potential reasons why this run could've been canceled. For example; a serial killer breaks into your house; a rat chews through the cords connected to your TV; a bomb threat is called; a tornado blows through your area and destroys your house; the FBI pounds on your door, demanding you open it; an asteroid slams into Earth and kills pretty much everything; you pass out for some reason, the list goes on and on.

Hey trev i'm trying to play majoras on the switch but can't make the backflip as deku to grab the ledge in clock tower was wondering if i need more práctice or it's not possible on this versión?
It's possible on every version of the game, but the inputs are somewhat precise. You need to release your Z-target immediately after backflipping and press it again to target the wall in front of you, which causes Link to stay in front of it. I do it really fast though, but if you slow the video down to .25 speed, and watch the L trigger on the input display (which is bound to Z when using a Gamecube controller on Wii), you should be able to see the release and repress happen.

@@HazaFromNextDoor There isn't a detailed guide for this category, as it is extremely lengthy and making a guide would be over a hundred hour undertaking for anyone looking to do it well. However, I can share with you my route notes here: pastebin.com/NbeE8QVi

Hi ppl! Is somewhere a route for 100% mega ultra beginners? I found a pastebin that I was following but the in game time flies and I cannot reach the desired goals :(
I don't think there's a pastebin like what you're describing, but I can think of multiple changes that would make the in game time super flexible so you can adapt as you improve at the game/route, but youtube comments is probably not the best place to have that conversation since I'd need to know the specifics of what you're having trouble with. Maybe I missed it but is there a reason you need to get the bomber’s notebook so early since it seems to add a bunch of extra text boxes to the run?
Completion of the notebook is a necessary part of 100%. If it's obtained too late a lot of the objectives tied to it are in danger of not being properly completed, or at the very least would force extra trips to various NPCs.
So when’s 100% bug limit
Majoras mask and twilight princess are tied for a very close first place for me with Majoras mask maybe by a razor margin

Nice I just started both of the ogs on my android so I can let my son experience majoras mask and ocarina of time.. he's god tier at breath of the wild and he's 5 so I think he'll get a kick out of the ogs.

Are temple maps and compasses needed for 100% unlike in OOT?
Yes they are. MM 100% requires getting everything that travels back with you when you play Song of Time. This means temple Maps and Compasses, but NOT boss keys since you lose those when you Song of Time. Glitchless still gets the boss keys since all of the glitches that get you past the door otherwise are banned, but avoids a situation where you'd have to do all the dungeons on the final cycle just to force having them.
Just a question about glitchless. What happens if an unintentional glitch happens that either doesn't help the run in anyway or helps in a very minor degree? An example would be the milk bar running faster glitch. P.s great run, very fun to watch.
If the incidental glitch doesn't help your run in any way whatsoever, it would generally be considered fine. If it creates some minor timesave, you will generally be penalized with some time added on to your run during the submission process as long as it was small. Anything large, accident or not, would most likely be forbidden outright.

Certain games just seems to be pure agony to speedrun, I mean if you mess up big time like 4 hours into the run you just have to start over?

Why did you do the same quest again? You already did the Kafael & Anja quest earlier..
You start and complete various amounts of the Anju and Kafei quests 3 times during this run. One time you do it to completion for Couple's Mask, another you only do it for the letter Anju gives you night 1, which you give to toilet hand instead this time, and finally you do it again in the final cycle because you need Priority Mail twice because there are 2 different rewards associated with it that can't be obtained in the same cycle.

I was so pissed I pre ordered this..that time constraint I could never understand to get around..least favorite Zelda iv ever played..the memory is too depressing..and I vowed to hate it forever..I just had to see the game I'll never touch..good run
Time didn't matter once you learned the song of time and could just start time over, it's a fantastic game
