      From Westminster, Tory rule and the fact that Wales is treated like the holiday park for rich English people. Lack of devolved powers and the taking of resources out of Wales to benefit England.

    • @deedledumb790

      There's a small amount of historical grievance as well. While Scotland entered into a Union of kingdoms, and NI willingly stayed in the UK after RoI was formed, Wales was conquered and made a part of England.

      Basically its Mark Drakeford’s only policy. Apparent independence from Westminster who supply most of our money. The money is then used by the same charlatans who care more about buying farmland and conducting ‘feasibility studies’ rather than building infrastructure, attracting investment and funding the Welsh NHS. Unfortunately he is supported by a misinformed bunch of middle class people who claim be working class because their grandfathers worked at the coal mines. Some of these people still seem to think that labour stands for workers rights but they live in the distant past banging on about Llewylin Gruffudd, but its 2022.

      The independence movement is growing in Wales.

    • @bigbird6039
      @bigbird6039 Год назад

      @@CymruEmergencyResponder The independence movement is stagnating in Scotland. Mainly because the SNP have shown that they simply can’t run Scotland within their means. Wales has even less to offer with a gdp equivalent to Yorkshire and a border that literally runs through communities top to bottom. With the majority voting for Brexit, and with nothing much to tempt the EU into considering us for membership.( Hence not independent) .

      Scotland’s independence movement is growing, as is Wales’. Wales actually has a GDP higher than Spains. Independence is perfectly viable.

    • @bigbird6039
      @bigbird6039 Год назад

      @@CymruEmergencyResponder well I have to disagree, Spain has the safety net of the EU. We have the safety net of the Union which has been sold for three hundred years. I really can’t believe that as a nation we’d be better off. Especially if it came to a hard border with England, that would be pretty claustrophobic. Unless of course the border counties could opt out of any independence issue and the border redrawn.

    • @paulsweet6235
      @paulsweet6235 Год назад

      @@CymruEmergencyResponder it may be growing but realistically how can wales manage to thrive? what economic infrastructure do we have. what do we export to make enough money to help maintain our independence and do you honestly think Herr drakeford will create an economy that will sustain the country as a whole? if drakeford is the right man then why is our council tax increasing every year way above inflation, why are our social services, hospitals and schools so poorly maintained and run?
