These people are completly crazy, but in the good sense of the word !!! . In order to make these kind of outstanding sounds, you really have to be an A-1 top class/professional musician !!! .
This track appears on the 1968 Burt Bacharach Casino Royale OSS as Home James and Don't Spare the Horses. Burt Bacharach later reworked it into a song called Bond Street, and it features on his album Reach Out. To be sure, this is a prime example of a cover that is better than the original!
The original track is from the 1968 "Casino Royale" film (The international school of espionage fight and also the final casino battle as Woody Allen's bomb pill counts down to 0) but this cover is really lovely on it's own terms!
Just learned that this band took its name from a Manfred Mann song. Lovely band with great songs, this album is just as amazing, thanks for uploading and keeping it up.
It went from Burt Bacharach's song Bond St. In the 1967 for the music soundtrack to the movie Casino Royale to Stereolab's song Ping Pong. Stereolab is influenced by so many musicians who are in and of themselves eclectic in their own right.
@ElFamosoDemon hmmm, it sounds like a mash up of burt bacharach's 'bond street' with stereolab's 'ping pong', and the whole sound of this track seems to be a tribute to stereolab's sound (ironic I guess, given that practically every stereolab song is a triibute to someone or other, including burt bacharach!)...I'm getting dizzy trying to figure this out, but I've got a bad feeling about it, generally...
that took too long to find jesus christ- i was listening to a cassette thing idk what it's called in english uh and it came on and now i cannot get it out of my head viytyinohjxrewserxtxdrt
this became one of my favorite songs of all time in a matter of weeks

Yeah & the band made their cover of Bond Street sound like Ping Pong by Stereolab. You get two cover versions in one...Bargain!
Feels like stereolab
Wonderful harmonies and mood!
great song, great album....also sushi 4004
This song makes me want to dance and somehow reminds me to Haruki Murakami.
The song referenced at 1:39 is Stereolab's International Coloring Contest.
With a hint of ping pong too
emergia ritmo allo stato puro. I miei anni ancora sono futuro

Sounds like Stereolab - Ping Pong. They probably sampled it.
I was driving me nuts. I knew I had heard that before. Thanks.
That was one of the first things I noticed! Totally Stereolab.

Everytime you write the name of God=Jesus Christ=the Holy Spirit, you must always do it using capital letters !!! .
This sounds like something Quentin Tarantino wrote himself while farting in the bathtub.

Best comment yet.
