Last night i also ordered an hmt kohinoor from Sharmajee,
1250 for watch (Tiffiny blue Kohinoor)
paid 500₹ as advance.
He says, he will be able to assemble to whole thing till 25th Jan.
i guess, i just have to wait now.

Nice. yeah he takes a few days to assemble it and then shows you pictures, when you are satisfied you can pay the rest and get straps/bracelets etc.

What's AM watches? And what's original and what's not about Mr. Vimal's watches?
AM is aftermarket i.e not made by HMT. They don't make mechanical ones anymore. With Vimal Sharmaji's watches the movement is original and serviced while the rest of the watch is aftermarket.

I've also ordered a kohinoor from vimal sir, similar to yours.
If you look after it and service it regularly it can last a long time. I mean if you look at some of the other hmts around they are 40-50 years old.

Working perfectly. Just winded it up yesterday. Gives me best power reserve, even better than all original ones. Just over 40 hours.

I have a question, I have an old Seiko mechanical. It needs to be fixed, I would like to know where could I get this serviced in Bangalore
You should find local watch shops nearby by. If its not too expensive they should be able to see what the issue is. Otherwise ask them if they know someone who specializes in Seiko.

Yeah as far as I am aware.
Faced problems twice with Vimal Sharma now...ordered two watches from him...the first watch came in with misaligned hands and had to send it back to him to rectify it...the watch came back to me rectified but again the same watch doesnt wind now and has completely stopped ...within 2 weeks...i guess ill drop the idea of ordering after market watches now...been a bad experience...spoke to vimal about it and he mentioned to send the watch back again ...but the question now is why should i keep paying extra courier charges again and again for a watch that keeps giving problems
I think instead of sending it back to him just find a local watch shop and get it serviced. You will face minor issues with these mechanical watches . One of my hmts kept stopping as well (not the Vimal Sharma one) so got it serviced for 300 from my local watch shop.Another one the hands were overlapping and getting stuck. So you will have these issues with HMT.
@@LBGWatch tried with the local watch guys , but they don't seem to be confident enough to repair the mechanical watch and I am a bit sceptical that they might damage it further
You will have to find someone who can service mechanical movements. My local watch guy couldn't do it either but he had a cousin who did so got it done there.

Do you sale the watch on COD (Cash On delivery) within India ?
I'm not having a good experience with this seller. Been trying to order some watches for a week now but he doesn't get back to me to confirm whether the item is in stock or not. Will give one more shot and then drop it if there's no response.

Issue with this type of watches is that on daily basis time is fast by 4-5 mins, are you facing this issue?
No issues with this one. You need to get them serviced to keep accurate time.

Two question
1) how much time you have to wind it for watch to last whole day
2) Is this original HMT or copy
3) From where we can get the watch service
1. keeping winding till the crown feels a little stiff to wind.
2. These are old refurbished hmt movements, with after market dial, strap and hands, and maybe some the case as well some times.
3. you can service from a mechanical watch servicing shop, which might be hard to find in most places.

I think best chance is to keep looking at the facebook groups regualry or if you find someone how is reliable and selling watches you can ask them if they have one. Some rare watches will require more patience as they may not be seen regularly.
I contacted mr vimal sharma to buy watch but he is not replying since 3 days. If anyone knows anything please tell me.
Contact him after 25th. He is having some health issues. He sent a message saying he won't be able to reply until the 25th.
