Hi 😊 Did your pattern include a 10% negative ease. I'm just wondering if that is something new that they've introduced recently? I can't understand how my dress form will end up measuring correctly when the bust is about 10cm too small. It makes me nervous to sew the back together, because I may just have to unpick it all again. I used calico fabric and iron on interfacing and I don't think it will be stretching 10cms. Thanks 💐
I love the idea of this dressform. What happens if you lose weight? It was a clever idea with the bra. If I purchase a pattern I will bear that in mind.. Thankyou for telling us about this and showing us your dressform. I did pad out my bought dressform (a sobering experience! Do I look as big as that really?) but it isn't easy adjusting it once I have fitted the tight cover on it.
I'm sewing my daughter's wedding dress and want to make a dress form double for her for pinning on lace and building up the bodice. She is tiny waisted, but wears a 28i bra size. Should I order the curvy/plus sized version for her to get the proper bust fullness? Or should I order regular because her waist is so tiny?
Angela, I think my bust on my form came out pretty good, but was not quite the right size. When I put the bra on it, it was perfect. I think I would just order the regular size, and maybe email Bootstrap's customer service, and let them know what you have. They are really helpful. I just ordered the regular size, not the curvy.
Did you find that some pieces didn't line up? I 'm sewing mine now and have made certain that everything is cut correctly, and yet I'm finding that the upper front pieces don't line up well. Just wondering if it's me, or if something actually is wrong with the pattern.
I love that you added the bra! I am an H cup. I will build mine out with the same thought process.
YESS brilliant idea with the bra! Im a G also and my dressform isnt representing my cup size the way it should. (Im making my SECOND dress form now!!)
Loved meeting you online. I'm super excited to see your business take off. You're the best.

I just printed my my teenage daughter’s pattern. She is so excited!
Let me know how it turns out, I would love to see it!
Great job Mel!
hi can you put this over an existing dress form and stuff it between the two layers of dress from
Great idea. Thanks!
Did you find that polyfill was good enough to pin into?
I just saw this. ;) Yes, as long as you stuff it well, its great.
Hey there, are you still happy with this and are you still using it?? Thank you!
Yes! I love it, and wouldn't change a thing. :)

Avez-vous déjà eu votre modèle de Bootstrap?

So helpful!! Did you prewash your fabric?
I just saw this! No, this is a batik, and it's shrinkage is almost nonexistent.

No, all my pieces lined up. Contact Bootstrap, they have really good customer service. :)
