I think u never tried the engines 2.0 20v (5 cilinders), it was put on audi 90, that car makes 260km/h (not hard), beside that it had decent consumtion

Доброго времени суток, у меня такой же чудо - автомобиль только в Аванте на 1.9 ТДИ уже семь лет пробег 745 т. заводится с пол оборота минимум вложений, тех осмотр проходит с первого раза без проблем, масло от замены до замены раз в 8 т. км. ЛЕГЕНДА!
@@Revalorice Убиваемый... выламываться рейка пошла из моторного щита и там прочее типа опора коробки из днища стаканы стоек захотели хитьт своей жизнью а вот краска разве что поблекла да морда вся посеклась .. но кузову каюк - он убит и сам вообще как сосиска гулять начал. Ну в принципе всему свое время - известных пробег миллион 200 тыс а сколько и когда скрутили а фиг его знает. Ну а подогревы всякие они на дизельках нужная штука - ибо толком не греет пока не поедешь если по русски не переделывать даже систему догрева немецкую или вебасто не ставить. 1.9 убиваемые увы... та которая старушка была бензовая сейчас дизелек... откапитален потому как контроль давления масла и привод маслонанасоса не сочетаются и к неубиваемости имеют поверхностное отношение- долбанный карандаш при прогреве машины на участке отправил двигло на капиталку.
Best car ever built. It's like a tank. We used to have one, which is a twin to this one from a vid. Bought from the 1st owner in May 2007, never had any issues with it. It served us great until January 2021 when it was destroyed in an accident. May our B4 rest in peace (1992-2021) 🙏😭💔.

former 'german quality' this engine was to perfekt. I owned the - 1,9TD in Audi b4 3607km - 1,9TDI in Octavia 400tkm - now 1,9TDI same Skoda model 130tkm. Found this treasure with 62tkm 18 years old three years ago. All engines no oil consumption und TD 5l/100km the TDI less then 4,5l/km.
Thanks for making me relive a memory. My father owned one of these cars in the 90s. In Italy these Audi 80 were usually more accessoried, with standard electric windows and climate control.
У моего дяди такая была, именно 1.9TDI😀 Абсолютно бессмертный мотор с чудовищной тягой, даже если потребуется замена - в Европе на разборках их хоть завались. Если усилители внизу не прогнили - ей даже имеет смысл заняться в плане переваривания днища и порогов. Получится отличная рабочая машинка которую не жалко поцарапать.
У вага 1.9 тди около ста моторов разных)) На 80 В4 ставили 2 варианта, AAZ 75hp и 1Z 90hp. Никакой чудовищной тяги на них нет, она есть 5 цилиндровом 2.5ТДИ (что на 115 лс, что на 140лс)

@@pcclassic9351 1.9 увы не тихий мотор. Свистать может и ремень кондея и ремень доп агрегатов при долбанутьй но типа живой обгонной муфте гены - там хватает чему кроме турбы. Но вот присвист если из машины слышно это повод поискать че за хрень. У меня немного другой движок АФН -ка... Не в стоке - наморочено немного с наддувом и топливной картой. Двигло убили разок - оно откапиталено и немного надуто - ну 8 сек сарайчику до сотки ну так чтобы хоть как то обгонять. Но свисты скрипы - присвисты это все не к добру ... а вот искать их иной раз задолбаешься - может тупо быть в моменте опережения впрыска а тогда звучать будет всё глушась присвистом ремней.

And once again I have been surprised how a car in these conditions is able to start and run almost normally. The Audi seems to be in good condition, on the body it has some rust but nothing was recorded and in the engine compartment it can be seen that it is dirty, also from the little that you have shown, the interior seems to be complete, just a little dirty. As they say in some comments, this Audi 1.9 TDI is a very tough car that spends little. I encourage you to keep it for many more years, you who can.
By the time the Sun stops burning, these old TDI's will still run :) . Once the proud owner of a '96 A6 2.5 TDI 5 cylinder. Best car I ever had. Every aspect was build like a tank.

i have used the 1.9 TDI as daily drivers since 2007. never die and amazing MPG . my current is a 98 seat cordoba vario 90 BPH lightly tuned to around 115. the 1.9 is up there with the 300D IMHO
Hey, the radiator fan doesn't turn on automatically after reaching operating temperature on my Octavia 1.9 tdi what could be the problem? There's a torn metal fuse on the fuse box above the battery. Is that why the fan wouldn't turn on? Fan spins when I turn on the A/C though.
I love diesels, especially these mechanical injection ones. Will run years with proper fuel and maintenance. In the United States the diesel fuel sucks. So easy for water to get into the fuel because of the process used here is far inferior to the processes used in the EU for diesel fuel.

Very good cars these as I'm sure you know, galvanised bodies (except the front wings). I had a Cabriolet version for years which I originally win in a raffle for £12. It never gave me any trouble at all. It even had exactly the same Pioneer stereo!
I love your old Nissan Patrol mate! Those early Audi 1.9 TDI's with the VE pump will go on forever if well maintained, If the bodyshell is rot free it would be a keeper for me!
I believe, it's one of the best choices for first car today. Cheap, super reliable, and it drinks pretty much nothing. I don't have a car, or licence, but if i will make it before the ban of diesel cars, i will buy one.
I bought my Audi 80 diesel with 110,000miles on it. It had a problem which turned out to be the rubber hose from the turbo which had a split that opened up under turbo boost pressure and made the engine have zero performance. When fixed I had that estate for five years and drove it everywhere in both the UK and France and it never gave me a second problem. With regular servicing and being looked after it was the most reliable car I have ever owned. Someone once said that after all the atomic bombs have fallen only the Audi 80 diesel will still start!

I curently have a Škoda Octavia 1.9 tdi 81kw pretty much indestructible engine if it's maintained regularly. Mine has currently done 380k kilometers or roughly or 237k miles and it's still running strong. Currently it's -10C where i live and it doesn't struggle at all on starting. Very satisfied with my car so far.
Yes. Here in India, I am also having 2007 skoda Octavia 1.9 tdi alh diesel 5 speed manual clocked juet 100k kms . I use liqui moly 5w40 oil. Runs smooth and strong.

Apart from a few little bits of superficial rust, it looks remarkably solid all things considered. Hopefully it’s been saved from the scrapper for a little while longer. 👍
Even 2023 - a Audi B4 80 1,9tdi is very good car. It looks ageless, is very economical and good enough to drive. And DO NOT RUST! It is very good car for good owner - it askes only small amount of money from the owner and is very reliable as well! Like dinosaur!

У нас был Ауди а6 переходник, тоже 19 ТДИ , он конечно не резвый ,но мотор свистел своеобразно )) интересно

I had one, injectors from afn, fuel dose adjustment on the pump and increasing turbo boost. The car was lively with very little fuel consumption.

Apart from a few little bits of superficial rust, it looks remarkably solid all things considered. Hopefully it’s been saved from the scrapper for a little while longer. 👍

Even 2023 - a Audi B4 80 1,9tdi is very good car. It looks ageless, is very economical and good enough to drive. And DO NOT RUST! It is very good car for good owner - it askes only small amount of money from the owner and is very reliable as well! Like dinosaur!
