    In Observation 3, the magnetic effect is directly proportional to the distance from it....
    As it increases when it is near and decreases after going far....
    Hence it is directly proportional..
    So please kindly rectify the observation 3

    Sir, this deflection of compass needle when kept under the current carrying wire can be explained by SNOW rule. Am I correct???

    • @Learnnhvfun

      Yes you are Soumya,😊👍

    • @Learnnhvfun
      @Learnnhvfun  3 года назад +1

      If current is flowing S to N, the magnetic needle placed close to it will deflect towards west.
      Also you can apply SWIMMING rule.

    I have a question...
    If current in a wire is flowing from S to N, and compass is placed above the wire, then in which direction compass needle will be deflected?
    To the East or to the West

    If we pass current for longer time then what happened ?????

    • @h7opolo
      @h7opolo 9 месяцев назад

      The non-changing, constant current would create a static magnetic field, i.e. it would not experience a change, aka flux, and would not exert a torque on the compass. Cheers
