Doin well there Phil, love the truck idea mate. It's coming along nice. Steady as she goes bro you'll get to accomplish many things with a positive attitude. Keep being awesome.
All 3 of your project cars are in my top 10 favourites so yeah kind of jealous but loving your content. Even tho the f700 is not as involved as the others, I wouldn't be surprised that it becomes the favourite for alot of people. It's just looks so freaking good! And your message at the end can't be said enough!
Great video, good progress. Man truck looks like a million bucks, great man for looking out for others dude shows how good of a man you are the world needs more just like you.
Simply, 10/10, A+, You sir I take my hat off to you, Stand tall and be proud of yourself for all your achievements, Your standard of workmanship is extremely high including your attention to detail, & I also like a clean and organised workshop, As for your kind words of caring for your family & fellow work colleges, you can't get better then that, Looking forward to your 2025 video's Cheers, to you Sir.
Love the video mate. True up the wheels the same way you would if it is material in a lathe. Those split rims are a tyre fitters worse nightmare. We used to swear if they came into work.
Hey bro, I can relate working in the coal industry, fortunately I took time off this year. I hope you had the best time that ya can away and that you have the best new years that you can. Cheers for the great videos bro, take care, lozza
I’m loving this truck Phil and I love how you appreciate its originality and want to preserve that. Spiders are a quintessential Aussie big truck signature. These F trucks were used as very fast newspaper delivery trucks in the day. They would load up with newspapers at midnight and drive flat out to deliver to country towns by morning. Stories of 90 mph in these trucks are still told, so the diff ratios are available. The two speed diff while period correct are cool , will never perform as you want. If you want to stick with spider rims and a later model diff, look at later model Acco or even Ford Louisville single speed diffs with spiders. I would definitely fit a later model air bag suspension from a Japanese 8 ton truck or even a Acco garbo truck. A definite must have is get rid of those rims and fit tubeless rims. Much Safer. Better selection of tyres available, even low profile tyres down to 19.5 and quieter and better riding. The paint on spiders and rims is just right. 🚀
